It sucks but the more they take down, the more that will pop up. It's a business opportunity right now. Everyone is backing out of the game and the gov has spent years lining all these sites up to take them down. Someone new comes in they take all the business and get out if the penalties turn out to be incredibly harsh for the people going to the courts soon. Even in that amount of time there is so much money to be made someone will do it. Not to mention the amount of people who will just flock to it. I just really don't get how the government thinks they're going to do anything with this approach. It didn't work with prohibition, it's not working with drugs, why would it work now. Less time pulling these sites down, more time finding the medium.

the boxset also came on flimsy vinyl and not real jackets, just basically the sleeves you would expect to find IN the jackets. So I believe this will likely be 180g, Saddle Creek never skimps on the Bright Eyes stuff and it will likely be much nicer jackets. Someone from Saddle Creek has been posting on here recently, maybe they can confirm?

Do the new mini's not have a CD drive? I had one for 3 years and it was honestly the best desktop computer I've had, I'd say I had less issues with it than my 20" iMac I got right after. I did recording with it so it was great for moving around and I never had any issues flopping between Photoshop and Illustrator on it. I just upgraded the ram to start and it was fantastic. Honestly, can't say enough good things about them.

This record is fucking unreal. It's going to be hard to beat for 2012.

Two bands, both Canadian as a hint. One had an amazing release last year on P+P and the other did a 7" for a subscription series last year.

Complete LP's or literally everything? Stoked that Collection is getting a press on its own. My Oh, Holy Fools gets played at least once a week, will likely spring for that too just to keep up my collection. Such a good LP I don't mind paying for it again. Plus, Saddle Creek is the best.
