  1. Your best bet is to just watch ebay, it pops up every now and then. One was just up for $100 last week
  2. Not to scam your thread, but if you already snagged that Des Ark, I'd love a copy if anyone else has one they're willing to unload. [email protected]
  3. Gah, well if you ever want to move any of the coloured first presses of the BC/TJ split, let me know and I'll take them
  4. Just waiting for someone to respond to an email but I may take some of those B&C/Tigers Jaw first presses off your hands provided you still need the cash by then.
  5. Those videos are a great example of what the current NHL is missing. The penalties may be harsher but there is still a need for the Holmstroms and other guys who can not only get rough but put in a goal every 15 games. That second video is a joke, attempt to injure? It's a warning to stay in your net and it worked, not a single skater stepped up. If anything the only attempt to injure was that pathetic stick swing from Miller.
  6. Hey Real name: Kyle Krische Favorite Bands: 7 Seconds, HWM, The Lawrence Arms What's your Facebook/Twitter/Tumblr etc.?: http://graveltongues.tumblr.com/ http://www.deadformat.net/tradelist/noclassnoway Hobbies (outside of record collecting): screen printing, cooking, taking pictures. Fuck, when you take out music stuff you realize how boring you sound I guess. Play in a band? Run a record label? Link us!: http://www.mockingbirdwishmeluck.bandcamp.com http://www.wayfarer.bandcamp.com Play drums occasionally for http://www.teenviolence.bandcamp.com Random things you want us to know about you: I live in Guelph, Ontario, Canada but am currently living in Krakow, Poland doing a semester here. I'm 21, I go to school, work in a screen printing shop and do band stuff on the side.
  7. I remember using something that wasn't just the advanced search on eBay to find ended listings. Anyone have anything that could help me out?
  8. Shameless self plug but it's not too bad because it's a split and the Decay are amazing. Their full length is also on that site and is absolutely incredible. Ontario pop-punk-esque type stuff. Added the bandcamp for both bands if you want to sample first Release: http://juiceboxdotcom.com/recordingco/jb034/ Decay http://www.thedecay.bandcamp.com Wayfarer http://www.wayfarer.bandcamp.com
  9. There was also a screen printed cover of Pebble they rolled out alongside the screen printed cover of Get Better (which is on that list) at the Buffalo release show for Pebble.
  10. My wings are all over the place. Glad to see Howard is doing alright but when he's off goddam he's bad. I want the Leafs to keep doing well for another month then just absolutely blow it. Hate those fuckers.
  11. They also brew all sorts of one off specialty kegs. They brewed a bubble gum beer for their launch party at the Museum Cafe in Kitchener and it is still to this day the BEST pint I've ever had. I know, it sounds awful but somehow they made it amazing. Full beer taste and a second or two a bubble gum after taste kicks in nicely.
  12. Hahaha I'm actually in Poland right now, been here for two months and have downed tons of Warka. It's decent but Poland has some better beers. My favourite so far is Kozlak and Kasztelan. Kasztelan is an unpasteurized beer and there's a bar by my school that sells em for 4 zl a pint (about $1.30). Being Canadian especially the price blows my mind for how good the beer is. Ontario has a bunch of really amazing breweries that make tons of amazing beers. For the longest time my go to was Mill Street Organic. This past summer though I almost only drank Flying Monkey, a rad brewery from Barrie Ontario. Their labels are super dumb, as is their name, which kept me off them for a while but the beer is so good I don't even care. The Anti-Gravity is the best light beer I've ever had and their Smash Bomb IPA rules too. I think it's out in Ontario now but I haven't been home since August but they had a 14% double IPA called Super Collider hitting shelves, really excited to get home and try it.
  13. I got fucked the same way. I sent a record to Chicago from the Toronto area. Seller says it didn't arrive and asked for the cheapest shipping method. I showed I sent it and still lost the money when ebay went to resolve it.
  14. Been piecing together a HWM test press collection that includes: - HWM/Trio split - HWM/Tomorrow split - No Division - Caution - A Flight and A Crash Other top mentions: - Dear Landlord - Dream Homes (test press with silkscreened cover, the new cover is so awesome. Picked it up at FEST last year and love it.) - La Dispute - Wildlife deluxe. Can't get over how good this record is. - Make Do and Mend - Part and Parcel clock version. I'm out of the country right now so I haven't seen it yet but I just thought the idea was awesome. Gimmicky or not I'm into to. - Lawrence Arms - Ghost Stories/Guided Tour of Chicago (both pressings of the silkscreened covers that came out on Asian Man a few years ago)
  15. I sent a friend specifically just to look for a Flight and a Crash or Fuel test press. He didn't wake up in time. Just tell me neither were there and make me feel better.
  16. This is awesome, just pre-ordered my copy. The album art is incredible.
  17. Yeah I also got the download code thing and it just downloaded an RTF saying it wasn't ready yet.
  18. anyone remember what HWM test presses were there this year?
  19. Never thought this was going to come out. This record is fucking amazing.
  20. Got four for Boston. Making the trip down with some friends, super excited. Never been to Boston either.
