Wow....Merseyside derby was incredible. Disappointing that Everton couldn't hold a 3-2 lead late but then again they could have been down 3-1 earlier. Anyone chime in about how PL contracts work? Not sure WTH Kadri was thinking tonight. Just pathetic what he did to Backstrom, and he should have been tossed for that alone. Stupid play by a guy who is plenty skilled enough to not need to act like a clown. The hit to Granlund was bad too, but he never should have had the opportunity. Even if they survived that 5 min major it killed any chance of them scoring and wore them out. The Wild dominated much of the game - the Leafs won't go anywhere unless they figure out how to not get outshot by a huge number every night. As good as Bernier and Reimer can be their record is a mirage right now. My one game/year seeing them in person.....grrrr.

I've just gotten into football the last few months, in part because of the bpl matches on nbc each week(Everton!). Since I lived in SLC I'm also rooting for RSL in the MLS playoffs. What I don't get is why on earth they have a 2 week gap until leg 2? I know there are INTL matches coming up this week, but it's a lousy way to get casual fans interested if a 2 game playoff has 13 days between matches.

Man, the Sabres look lost. I still hate them for beating the Leafs in the ECF the year Hull stole the Cup(Sabres fan I work with says that). But their fans deserve better. Ryan Miller will still probably find a way to steal 1 of 2 next weekend.
