Small Talk Revival Thread
weinerdog replied to One Hundred Fifty-Two's topic in Everything Else Message Board
No offense to anyone, but why don't 95% of the replies to FS threads mention what item(s) the buyer is interested in? If I check a thread that has 15 replies that say 'pm'ed', it might be that 3 or 4 people have already messaged about something that looks good. In which case I probably wouldn't bother because chances are the item will be sold.- 169,220 replies

Very nice to see Teemu come back. I think playing in his 6th Olympics (crazy) is a huge reason. Hopefully the compressed schedule was more to blame for his dropoff last year, and not age catching up.

As far as no insurance, wouldn't it only be a few bucks to insure a $100 record? Just my opinion, but I think it's a mutual fail if both parties decide to not insure a package. As a buyer I'd gladly pay a bit more on the transaction to avoid these kinds of headaches. As a seller I wouldn't ship anything without it.

Since he paid by gift, isn't he screwed as far as his creditor is concerned? Even if the package was beat on, I'm not buying that the record magically got warped as well. Total scam to me. I'd tell him to enjoy his record.

USBM (United States Black Metal)

Not so much for black metal, but I do like this guy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CeZlih4DDNg -
Good points. Ratting out Walt could ease his guilt a bit, which is what would send Walt after him. Off topic, but I think Dean Norris has been really good. Also in Mpls....nice.

Pinkman is pretty much incoherent anyways, but he sure seems to have resentment towards Walt. If it comes to saving his own hide I think he'd talk. Better call Saul!

13/14 Premier League Football Discussion

I'm starting to get into soccer a bit more. A guy I work with is a huge Arsenal fan, and he said to just pick a team to root for. Is Everton a solid choice? I saw a few matches last year and enjoyed their style of play (whatever that means). From how he makes it seem, Arsenal/Tottenham rivalry is like Michigan/Ohio. -
It's going to be quite a chess match between Hank and WW. I'm starting to think WW is going to outlive Pinkman, who is quite a mess.

Totally agree - if it was real there would be lawsuits galore. I call BS on that one.

What garbage. I'd go after them. They kept your $500 that you apparently should have got every dime of, so they are the ones who need to prove the damage they say you caused. I'd check with your local city govt. There should be resources available to help you with this. If you bust your ass for what you earn, why let some lowlife keep your money? This place encourages consultations/telephone inquiries - even if they can't help I bet they can guide you to someone who can. http://www.wojtan.com/1046/landlord-tenant/new-york-state-tenants-rights-guide/

Watching the Glendale city council debate before the vote tonight to keep the Coyotes in AZ. It's unreal - mostly a bunch of adults acting like children and interrupting each other. I think the vote is going to be very close, but hockey may not be dead there just yet. http://www.azcentral.com/live/?event=Phoenix-coyote-deal-vote

Bummer....guess he wants the $ more than a shot at another Cup.

Rangers aren't going to buy out Richards. Kind of surprised, but hopefully he'll turn it around. http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=426538

OT, but Norton blows - get yourself something like AVG or Malwarebytes(the best IMHO)

Leafs need to get Scuderi too
-
(huge Leafs fan here) - I like the trade. Looking forward to the first back-to-back when they each get a start.

I guess all that's left is for the Sabres to hire Gulutzman and the coach swap will be complete.

Spurs can hopefully close it out in 6. If Ginobili is anything like he was tonight I like their chances. I've been rooting for them since the Iceman/Artis Gilmore days, and I think this title would be the most satisfying.

Jagr looks finished. He can still rack up a few assists here and there, but is a huge liability otherwise. Any team that signs him next year should have their heads examined.
