  1. Hopefully this pressing doesn't have the same audio issues as the latest War All The Time pressing. I'm highly considering selling my copy of War All The Time regardless of how much I love the album.
  2. Damn it, wanted the 180 gram, I'll live with the white though.
  3. They're putting out the same Incubus albums that came out for RSD. Should I sell my RSD copies and buy the Music On Vinyl copies? I care for sound quality more than having the rarest copy of an album.
  4. I apologize for the first picture being blurry.
  5. If these happen to sound better, I guess I'll have to sell my RSD copies. Anyone familiar with musiconvinyl.com?
  6. I have the two flexi discs (one song on each flexi disc) but I am keeping them. I'll take pictures of them soon to put them up on discogs. Hopefully someone can take pictures of the test pressing too since there are only 10 of those. Matt Mingus was really stoked on them, he was dying to know what they sounded like. Even Kurt Travis wanted one since they used one of his songs, he had no idea they had made them until I showed him the flexi discs. On a side note, everyone in DGD and A Lot Like Birds are super cool dudes. I'm sure if someone here invested the money into a vinyl pressing for A Lot Like Birds, the band would allow it, same goes for Kurt Travis' solo stuff. They just don't have the money to do it themselves. Put it this way, they don't have the money to afford sleeping in hotels, most of the time they crash at a fan's pad or sleep in their van. :-(
  7. I didn't find the thread for these when I tried searching. However, if there was an actual thread on these, I apologize. Here's a list of all the 7-inch/t-shirt bundles that Sony Legacy is releasing on Tuesday. 311 - Come Original / Rub A Dub Ben Folds Five - Draw A Crowd / Sky High Bob Dylan - Like A Rollin' Stone / Gates Of Eden Elvis Presley - Don't Be Cruel / Hound Dog Hall and Oates - You Make My Dreams / Gotta Lotta Nerve Heart - Barracuda / Fanatic Iggy & The Stooges - Raw Power / Search And Destroy Incubus - Stellar / Stellar (Acoustic) Jimi Hendrix - Purple Haze / Foxey Lady Johnny Cash - Folsom Prison Blues / San Quentin Journey - Don't Stop Believin / Natural Thing Kings of Leon - Molly's Chambers / Red Morning Light Korn - Freak On A Leash / Freak On A Leash (Lethal Freak Mix) Miles Davis - Runs The VooDoo Down / In A Silent Way Paul Simon - Me & Julio Down By The School Yard / Still Crazy After All These Years Peter Tosh - Legalize It / Equal Rights Quiet Riot - Cum On Feel The Noize / Run for Cover Roy Orbison - Pretty Woman / Crying The Strokes - Under Cover Of Darkness / You're So Right Willie Nelson - Always On My Mind / The Party's Over
  8. I'm with you on this one. Only ATDI records I care to own are In Casino Out, Vaya, and Relationship of Command. If El Gran Orgo was ever pressed on vinyl I may would pick that one up too. Only song I really like on Acrobatic Tenement is "Initiation".
  9. Seems like that was a smart move on FBR's part considering the critical acclaim and how many copies it's sold. fun can always just finish out their contract and then once they're independent, write the music they meant to write in the first place if Some Nights did not come out how they intended. They knew what they were committing themselves to signing to FBR, let alone most labels. This is a business. If you sign to a label like FBR or most labels of that caliber, part of what comes with that is making music that is going to actually sell, not make music that is only aesthetically pleasing to about 2 to 3 thousand fans.
  10. Two flexi's actually. Each song was on its own separate clear square flexi disc. I should probably take pictures of them since no one else among the DGD fanbase has. I still need to get the "People You Knew / Perfect" 7-inch. I'm sure if enough fans petitioned to get DGD pressed on vinyl, we could make something happen.
  11. I know. My bad, I should have phrased that better. The 180 gram copies that were exclusive to Shopradiocast (but were not pressed by Shopradiocast because Shopradiocast is an online retailer and not a pressing plant) got to me on time.
  12. Their pressing of Is A Real Boy 180 gram got to me on time. I also got Dude Ranch 180 gram within days of them putting it up online recently. Therefore, there are some things that SRC can do right.
  13. What I meant was that maybe they'll explore pressing Menos El Oso in color as soon as they completely sell out of the standard black pressing.
  14. I would LOVE a boxset with all 5 DGD records. Their new album is almost done being written though. I think they'll have it out by the summer or maybe even sooner.
  15. shopradiocast didn't let me down on previous orders so I'm still holding out hope on this one
  16. Return of Saturn sounds great! Such an underrated recording.
  17. I wonder how many non-RSD copies were pressed for each album. I also wonder what it's going to take to press Fungus Amongus and the Enjoy Incubus EP as well.
  18. Maybe they're still trying to sell out of the pressing that is still out there.
  19. "Megalomaniac", "Talk Shows On Mute" from ACLOTM ('04), "Anna-Molly", "Dig", and "Love Hurts" from Light Grenades ('06), and "Adolescents" from If Not Now When ('11) are all top 5 hits, three of them actually #1 hits. While they haven't had albums as successful as Make Yourself and Morning View, Crow has sold over 2 million, Light Grenades is right under 1 million sold, and their latest is likely hovering around a quarter million (which considering the current musical landscape, I would say is pretty good). All the tours they've done in the last 10 years have been rather successful and they've been pretty much everywhere. I just don't get how you can say they've been "off the map". Sure, they're not Coldplay big, but they've still stayed pretty relevant. Their commercial success may have peaked between the years 2000-2002, but they've put out 3 albums (plus a hits/b-sides record) during the last ten years. Incubus is also probably one of less than a handful of bands from the late 90's/early 00's "nu-metal" era that can still consistently fill out arenas as a headliner.
  20. It comes with a t-shirt too, likely XL. Also, the b-side on it will be the acoustic version of Stellar. http://www.blowitoutahere.com/incubus-stellar-stellar-acoustic/887654325778
  21. This site confirms that the b-side to the Stellar 7-inch single coming out next month is in fact the acoustic version of Stellar. http://www.blowitoutahere.com/incubus-stellar-stellar-acoustic/887654325778
