  1. The song My Friends by State Lines says state lines. Also their song Hoffman Manor says Hoffman Manor and it's on the Album Hoffman Manor. And on For The Boats they say for the boats.
  2. So I knew that my uncle was kind of crazy, and that he had a radio show. But this morning I listened to it for the first time and it's pretty nuts. Love the guy a lot, but wow.
  3. http://www.avclub.com/articles/dan-harmon-may-record-his-reaction-to-communitys-f,98529/ As part of the season 4 DVD Dan Harmon might record his commentary as he watches the episodes for the first time. Definitely something I would love to hear.
  4. The part in Roam The Room that goes "I want to know what I've been fighting for, I wanna know what I've become" reminds me a lot of the line from Gasoline by Brand New that says "I wanna know I've left the great divide, I wanna know what I've become". The melody even sounds similar, and since Mat is a Brand New fanboy I'd guess that it's not a coincidence.
  5. Yeah I thought they did a great job with it, Carey Mulligan is such a sweetheart Also I didn't realize that Isla Fisher was in it until I looked up the cast when I got home.
  6. Anberlin - Never Take Friendship Personal Iron & Wine - Creek Drank The Cradle Relient K - Mhhmm Woods of Ypres - Woods IV: The Green Album
  7. I haven't, but my friend who I watched House of the Devil with said he was disappointed with it and liked HotD quite a bit more. I saw Now You See Me last night and it was pretty good. It has a really great cast and is a pretty entertaining concept, definitely would suggest and probably is the best movie out right now. I can't wait for The Purge to come out though.
  8. Watched House of the Devil last night and it's a pretty good slow burning horror film. Ti West did a great job with it, and if you have netflix and like horror I would suggest watching it.
  9. Does your mom know that you're listening to music with explicit lyrics?
  10. DAN HARMON IS BACK http://www.theverge.com/2013/6/1/4386678/community-creator-dan-harmon-confirms-return-to-show

  12. Just got my State Lines - For The Boats test press yesterday. Pretty stoked on it even though it's a rejected one. The accepted ones are only out of 4 so I doubt I'll ever see one of those.
  13. You should have said something sooner and I would have come over, although I probably passed by you a couple times throughout the day. Bled Fest was great though, totally worth the drive all the way out there. My only complaint about the festival was that on one of the stages it was just in a classroom so they played on the floor which meant that if you got quite a few people in there that you couldn't see the band at all and that people would be standing out in the hall way because it was too small to hold all of the people. Because of that Empire! Empire! and Pity Sex were kind of disappointing, but they still sounded really good. The only disappointing band that I saw was Diamond Youth, which was a bummer. They sounded good, but it was just not very interesting to watch. During Daylight's set a guy surfed up and landed in front of Taylor and hit his mic and he kicked him in the stomach. It was pretty crazy. Probably the most impressive set was The World Is... just because I didn't really know what to expect and it blew me away. I was also surprised at how wild people went for State Champs, they're probably going to blow up soon. I ended up seeing Adventures, Kittyhawk, Turnover, Allison Weiss, State Champs, Diamond Youth, Masked Intruder, Sainthood Reps, The World Is..., Daylight, Empire! Empire!, Dads, Code Orange Kids, Joie De Vivre, Modern Baseball, Cheap Girls, Tigers Jaw, CityCop, Cerce, Slingshot Dakota, Pity Sex. Then we went to an after show where I Kill Giants, Old Gray, and Cerce played. It was pretty rad. A great day of great music. Top 5 1. Tigers Jaw 2. Modern Baseball 3. Daylight 4. Dads 5. The World Is... Honorable Mention: Slingshot Dakota
  14. Recently beat Final Fantasy IX again, my favorite one in the series, and that reignited my passion for Final Fantasy games. So now my summer goal is to play and beat as many as I can. Definitely my favorite video game series of all time.
  15. Not a teacher yet, but by this time next year I'll be graduated and (hopefully) have a job lined up. Since I'm not actually employed as a teacher yet I don't really have a feel for how things are here except that standardized testing is more detrimental than it is helpful. Basically they're just telling us that you have to make the best of it and take what you can.
  16. Alex Jones says that the government can create and steer tornadoes, and that they might have been behind the Oklahoma tornadoes. http://bit.ly/13J1xwD
