12:00-15:00 of this video is absolute pure post-rock glory, in my opinion. THIS is why I listen to this genre. Soaring, celestial stuff... could you imagine being in that room, with that music?

i had mentioned a bit ago that this was an old meat locker back in the 30's. so it retains the cold. there's still giant old metal doors 12" thick etc.

It was 78 degrees here yesterday.
Today it is 34 (with wind)
Our building is set on a thermostat we cant change, it's 'scheduled' so the air is on.
we're all huddled around with fingerless gloves by the printer like a burn barrel....printing off hundreds of things just to get slight warmth from the processor firing up.

if your health goes up each year (which it does) then raises should be mandatory.
there also needs to be a rule on deduction pay grade ranges. here's my office breakdown.
under 49k - same amount taken out.
50-99,999 - same amount
100k-150k - same amount
etc
soooo fucked up. someone making 50k has $300 a month taken out. so does the guy making 99,999k.

The likelyhood of group buys from Dunk! may be obsolete since A Thousand Arms will be doing their North America Distro. (Based out of Montana, I believe?) i think he would agree with us more on sound if he upgraded his system. Not saying he has to, certainly not knocking it, but if you think that album doesn't need a re-recording, then i wonder what other hellacious pressings sound pretty good to you.
