One thing I've learned from a relationship is to let my friends reeeeally get a good look and feel on this person. They see a great perspective and I've known most of them for 23 years plus. At this point do petitions do any good? I know when they hit certain numbers then it gets a look. Hell, one anti DeVos petition got 1.4 MILLION signatures and that didn't do shit. We need to face the fact that we're stuck with everything.

standard fare is safe; familiar. nothing wrong with that but when more bands sound standard than not in this genre then it gets filed under this term. it's nice to listen to, first cousin to cinematic post rock which i'm  not a fan of. 

Glories is standard fare and done well, like you said. For as generic as it is i listen to it more so these days. i enjoy them. 

gumby will love love it because of this reason.
