Ok. Makes more sense then. Would have been nice to have heard this information from them though. All they have said was that there were "delays in manufacturing".

An update from Saddle Creek today: Thanks for your order of the Tim Kasher LP "Adult Film". As we've mentioned, we hit some pretty significant manufacturing snags with this release. Right now, we're waiting on an approvable test pressing of the record. We hope to get another copy this week which we hope to listen to (and approve, fingers crossed) immediately. Once approved, we can begin getting them pressed and passed on to you fine folks. Trust us: there is no one who wants this done more than we do! We're hoping you're enjoying the album download and hope the wait is well worth it once the album arrives on your doorstep! Agreed. I'll be happy to have a colored version of any NOFX or Swingin Utters release considering how many I've missed as of late.

Last time I ordered from them I believe I selected the cheapest one by a few cents, which I think was first class, and they ended up sending it UPS anyway.

I agree with you that this is likely going to be a highly sought after version in the future. But, I wouldn't expect it to be a $200 nest egg sitting on your shelf.

I doubt it. That was just the first one that sold for that much. I think the last one sold for like 90. It will cool off like everything else.

Saw this. The first light blue /100 to sell on ebay sold for $227.50. Ridiculous.

I agree with what you are saying, I just think that on the scale of Hot Topic, there isn't a lot of money in some of these pressings of around 1000 unless you charge more for it. While I don't personally like paying nearly $30 for many of these releases, I feel like many of them would not ever get pressed if it weren't for someone like Travis working so hard to make them happen. There is definitely a cost for this.

In Hot Topic's defense, I'll bet the licensing fees for many of these releases are outrageous.

Bright Eyes has a Christmas album that is still available from Saddle Creek.

Got mine today and it is also black. Ordered second day up as well. Kinda frustrating because I could have gotten clear 2 weeks ago from my local brick and mortar.

I'm surprised this lasted as long as it did. I almost wonder if it got oversold. Hope my order got through.

It has to be better than Crash Love though, right? I'll wait until I have my physical copy before I give this a listen.
