If this is the one I think you are referring to, it was an incentive for preordering the "Under Great White Northern Lights" boxset. I got one from preordering, and also received another in the "vinyl roulette" in the TMR online store. It's a rather abstract red and white design on black felt that kinda looks like a steering wheel.

Third Man Records is noticibly absent from any kind of Black Friday RSD lists. I know they don't always announce their offerings with the official list, but it seems they usually make their announcement before now.

Am I wrong in that the red versions were 180 gram as well?

Don't give up on it though. A lot of those people are probably gold and platinum, so they will be going in before you anyway. Make sure to at least give it a shot, maybe you will have a positive surprise!

Ok, so I went to SLC last night. As far as how many people had platinum and gold, there were 25 platinum pass holders. For gold, I counted how many there were as they let them in the gate. I stopped at 200, and there were still quite a few after that. My best estimate would be 275-300 gold passes at SLC. I don't know if this varies from show to show or not. I was #4 in line for GA, and got a copy of this. When I got it and saw the line, I was sure that there was no way I was going to get a copy. Of the probably 30 people in front of me in line, no one bought this. Hope this helps for anyone still hoping to get a tour copy at a future show.

I'll be there at Red Rocks myself. When he played there almost exactly 2 years ago, it was one of the greatest musical experiences of my life. I expect this time around to be no different.

Looks like the pre-order page for this now says "all preorders" will receive the signed lithograph and teal vinyl versions. No mention of "the first 500" now. Probably would've held off on ordering this until closer to release day if I'd known they were going to change the availability. Oh well, will still be glad to have this when it arrives.

Saw this tour when it rolled through Salt Lake City on Thursday night. Was planning on picking up a copy of this at the merch booth but they said they were sold out of vinyl. They had the signed copies for those who purchased them through he ticket presale, but no others for sale. And Max is turning into Fat Mike.

This is an SRC pressing. The etching in the dead wax says it is SRC056. The center labels also have the SRC vinyl logo. I doubt anything will be different but the vinyl color.

Yeah, my MyUPS confirmation said it would arrive on May 31st... Still waiting.

I tried to get him to sign an "Elephant" LP (still my favorite album of all time) back in 2003. He wouldn't sign it then either. He's never been big on autographs. I suppose you could try, but would say that it is very very unlikely that it would happen. As an aside, about 4-5 years ago I saw The Dead Weather in Columbus, Ohio. Waited behind the venue until about 2 am and just before the buses rolled out, Alison, Dean, and Jack Lawrence all came out and signed autographs and took pictures. Jack White waived from about 30 feet.

My copy has an identical chip, with even the small jag just below the chip seen in your picture. It is pretty far from the beginning of the grooves, so I never even thought about trying to get a new one. I can't even imagine that it would affect the value all that much, not that I will ever sell mine anyway.

Got the green/white swirl sold on LTJ's site in today. More of an olive green/white A side/B side, but still looks really good.

I signed up for the free version of UPS My Choice. Any time my name and address is entered into the UPS system for a delivery, I get an email from UPS telling me when it should arrive. It's kinda nice. So to clarify, the shipping confirmation was from UPS, not Modlife.

Just got notification from UPS that I should be receiving this on Saturday via UPS SurePost.

From the preorder page on the Fat Wreck site: Due to a pressing issue beyond anyone’s control the colored vinyl version will be delayed for at least 2 weeks after release date.

It wouldn't be each individual record, but more likely each individual plate or master.

They charge you immediately.

The counter just updated to indicate there were 2 left, with a note saying that there were looking into restocking. So, hopefully we are safe against overselling.

So I'm assuming you've ordered from VinylLoop before? If so, was your experience good? Thanks in advance.

I hope they haven't oversold this because it said 18 left before I ordered mine too.
