  1. You bought it because of the hype. It does look nice on your wall though, right? (kidding) (it doesn't look nice on your wall) Hell I won't lie, I debated picking up a copy with the mass release because people love it with a crazy passion, and I've never given it a chance.
  2. May not sound like a lot, but the bride is a fishing hotspot. All day long you'll see it pretty packed.
  3. Just released more info and one of the victims was 11 years old. Apparently it was unprovoked and was because the shooter was having relationship troubles. This all happened on a relatively new bridge / trail that is always full. Fisherman, bikers, walkers, families. So I guess it could have been worse.
  4. So this happened last night less than a mile from me. http://www.postcrescent.com/story/news/local/2015/05/03/authorities-responding-shooting-near-trestle-trail-bridge-menasha/26850787/
  5. In a few weeks I might hit up Wild Adriatic, they are in town to work on some new songs and are having that just be totally open. Might stop in for a bit at some point just to check it out, but they are also doing a free show too. It's at a BYOB place so that should be interesting. Next up will be D4th of July. Can't wait for tickets to go on sale for that. The lineup is ridiculous. Against Me!, Dillinger 4, Tim Barry, Off With Their Heads, Scared of Chaka, Toys That Kill. Fuck me, I am dreading the 5 hour car ride alone, but damned if I'm not beyond stoked. I'm sure some other stuff will pop up. I mostly stopped by here because I am just super excited after seeing the D4th of July lineup.
  6. Fuck, that D4th of July show looks amazing this year. Looks like im heading to Minneapolis for that.
  7. While not the worst movie ever, the most frustrating movie I've ever seen was Southland Tales. I loved Donnie Darko so I had high hopes for this movie, and it was an epic letdown. When I first picked up the movie I watched it daily for almost a month trying to piece it all together because I figured there had to be stuff I was missing. In reality it was just a clusterfuck of a movie. Apparently they originally wanted it to be a trilogy, but ended up just condensing it all.
  8. Fuck, I was hoping my banjo would come before work today. Now I'm going to have to wait all night hoping it came and hoping I don't need to sign for it. I want to start trying to mess around with it, now.
  9. My door holding logic. If I am going to reach the door at about the same time as someone else I'll speed up a second to hold the door open for them. If someone is carrying anything I'll hold the door open for them. If someone is elderly I'll hold the door. If someone is with children I'll hold the door. Those are the basic rules. Sometimes I'll hold it for no reason and sometimes (although rarely) I'll break the afforementioned rules. I did try and hold the door for someone at Dominos Pizza and he responded saying "I don't let fags hold a door for me". I was wearing pink shoes and pink glasses so ya' know SUPER GAY. I did respond by saying, "damn, and the only reason I was going to do it was to stare at your cute ass." Figured the guy was going to punch me, but just called me a fuckin' fag and walked away.
  10. Brown Bird is awesome. I quickly watch the other video and dug it. I'll have to look him up sometime when I have more time. Thanks for the recomendations.
  11. I'll hold the door open for others frequently. I won't lie I do find it the tiniest bit awkward when others do it for me though.
  12. One of my other favorite from the golden era of amazing adaptations. And another. Double Dragon might be my favorite of these movies. ...and not just because of Alyssa Milano.
  13. The cast was great, and the movie was epic. At least Brucewillisisdead knows a cinematic masterpiece when he sees it.
  14. That movie was amazing!!! Don't bad mouth Super Mario Bros. I seriously watch that movie like once every other month or so.
  15. Was coming home from work and it wasn't an awesome night so I threw on some William Elliott Whitmore and immediately thought of some of y'all. With all the talk of being depressed over the past few days I figure that a few of y'all might enjoy giving these songs a listen.
  16. I had someone claim a warped record once on me. He was being super nice about it and did end up refunding him half his money. What I did when he first sent me a message was I took a picture of my record storage area so he can see how I keep my records stored so he knew that the warping wasn't due to my negligence.
  17. Completely off topic, but my Banjo should arrive tomorrow. At least hopefully. Can't wait to start trying out a new hobby. Never learned an instrument, and most likely won't be able to do it but fuck why not give it a go. Gold Tone CC-50RP Cripple Creek Banjo with Resonator Hopefully, my life long goal of turning into a character from deliverance will come true.
  18. I try not to judge. Or think about it to much. I will say this, the only time I've seen my half-brother actually happy was when talking about his "girlfriend". I just hope that she is equally happy with the arrangement.
  19. ...well shit. Since we've been talking about being lonely earlier. I just found out that my half-brother is getting married. Apparently he finally got the visa or whatever else was needed for his mail order bride. So far I know 3 people who have bought mail order brides. I guess more power to both parties. Hopefully, its a mutually beneficial arrangement. So I guess the moral of the story is that if your lonely, that's an option.
