Have any of you seen the International Noise Conspiracy Live album?

I'm going to bet they really did screw up the price then because the NWA tapes were $15. Hell even if you "needed" to have it and wanted to pay that I wouldn't pick it up because I don't want to have them think those kinds of prices are viable.

I initially read it as 1 item total. Which seemed crazy and a terrible business model. One of each item, I thought was standard practice. Otherwise why wouldn't first guy in line pick up the 4 copies of Deja and just buy them all. Apparently my store actually banned someone last year because he went in bought what he wanted and then payed people in the parking lot to go in and buy him more copies of a few key albums.

No joke my store had probably 50 of them but they were priced at $19.99. I swear they must have put the wrong price on it.

Brand New is obviously long gone. I know they had 4 or more Pity Sex when I left but I promised Rambo I'd check for that for him. The other 3 I'll look up the covers now and check when I go back. I do know they had at least 1 or 2 of the Nirvana tribute but I can almost guarantee they'd be gone by now.

What were you still looking for? I saw the post in that thread but already lost track of it. I'm out the door in a bit for a second go round and will write down what your after in case.

Yeah for the most part everyone is real hush hush with what they want. We've just been doing this for a couple years and our tastes are pretty different so it works pretty well. I'm more Punk and Rap, the next couple guys are more Phish and Grateful Dead, the next couple are more Miles Davis and some odd stuff I've never heard of and the next few are more indie rock guys. So for us it works pretty well. I do almost want to buy that copy of Deja so I can see the sellers name to confirm if it is one of the earlybird crew or not.

That was the main reason I went this year. I kind of had to talk myself into really wanting some of the releases. That Leatherface was the only one that I really wanted and even that I could have skipped. Everything else I just talked myself into "needing". I finally decided I had to go because it's always a good time shootin' the shit with some strangers that I actually know pretty damn well now.

The people in line for RSD are always the same handful each year and we have a good time shooting the shit. I was just pretty much able to confirm one of them as a flipper. Our shop got one copy of Deja and I just saw a copy of Deja on sale on ebay. While it's not a complete lock it sure seems likely enough that it was him. Doesn't really bother me but I know next year to not try and help him out. The bunch of us always try and watch out for each other and will share our must gets and shout out when we find it for whoever needs it.

Before I post in one of hte RSD thread. Did any of you miss out on the Foo Fighters 10"? A 10 year old or so at my local store was devastated when they ran out of Foo Fighters so I ended up trading someone the last copy of Neko Case that I snagged for their Foo Fighters. By the time I paid and went to give it to him his dad said they brought out an extra stack so they got one. So that leaves me with a copy of the Foo Fighters that I don't want / need. Let me know and it's yours.

My store has a show at 2 (so in about 4 hours) I'll check back here later to see if I can help anyone out.

Just got back from RSD. Missed on one of my big ones, the Immortal Technique album, but no biggie. I did pick up the Leatherface, Jurrasic 5, two MDC albums, and a Hold Steady for my brother. Got interviewed by a reporter looking like a hobo and going on no sleep so hopefully that gets aired.

Got this, and am pumped about it. It was only $55 for me so after seeing what some other stores had it priced I'm pretty stoked.
