The least this shitshow crowdfunding site could have done is force everyone to use their real name and photo if they wanted to support this. 78% is a good percent. I wasn't trying to say that it isn't. I brought up "Waino" because he's a top 10 starting pitcher in baseball and he was the closest comparison to what Harang had and it was to show how ridiculously dominant Kershaw is. Also how surprisingly good Harang was. I love the quality start stat because it's the perfect measure of if your pitcher can keep you in games, which Harang did really well last year. Bumgarner had a pretty terrible QS % last year. He was getting QS in less the 2/3rds of his starts. Pretty disappointing for a top tier pitcher.

Oh come one, baseball is a game of nerdy, nerdy statistics. My fantasy league uses Quality Starts instead of Wins so I've familiarized myself with the stats from last year.

Eh, Kershaw had quality starts in 89% of his starts. Harang had quality starts in 76% of his starts. Adam Wainwright only had QS in 78% of his starts.

If your fasting glucose is in under 125 you still may be Type 2 diabetic. After you eat a meal if you test your blood glucose and it's above 200 then that also would classify you as a diabetic. This thread has made me want to head over to my works in plant Nurse practitioner today so I can get tested. Mostly so I can get the test kit.

Damn Type 1 Diabetes is definitely rough. I don't envy you at all. If you're (original poster) just now showing symptoms of diabetes then you'd most likely have type 2 diabetes which is much easier to control.

If you think your at risk or your borderline take some steps to head it off. If you're overweight lose a few pounds. If you're not real active go out for a brisk walk daily. One other random thing that there have been some studies shown to make improvements in glucose levels is Cinnamon. While the results of testing on this are a bit mixed, fuck cinnamon is awesome so make yourself a slice of toast with a bit of butter and a bunch of cinnamon on it.

I have the Diabetes run rampant in my family. Every year at work it's mandatory to do a Health Risk Assessment so I get a battery of tests done and I have remained in the Pre-Diabetic range. Someone classified as a Diabetic would need to have a Blood Glucose level of 125 or high after fasting. A normal range is a glucose level under 100. For about a decade or more my fasted glucose is between 111-118. It's a bit high but it's been pretty consistent. I really should go to a Dr. and talk with them because for a while a friend gave me his old monitoring kit so I'd take my levels an hour after eating and I'd be sky high.

Today was a good day. Doin' nothing all day listening to the new William Elliott Whitmore album. Later on caught the second half of the Badger game at a bar with my concert buddy while waiting for the Real McKenzies to play. Now I'm sitting here eating free Girl Scout Cookies that my realtor dropped of today. Fun (not really fun) side story. First concert I've ever been at where the band had their lives threatened and had to put the show on hold because they were in fear for their lives. Apparently a drunk dude came up to them as they were setting up demanding they play a certain song and they said they wouldn't. So he threatens to kill them and runs away. So the band goes to a "secret location" and the cops get called as they search for this kid. Sucks that someone got drunk and said (or did) something stupid and now they'll have to deal with the reprocussions for a long ass time.

Sucks to hear about your situation, but glad your doing pretty well for yourself these days. Hopefully you can do what it takes to start moving up in your career.

Yeah that league setup seems to make Springer fall further down the rankings. Having hitter K's count against you means Springer is going to kill you in that catagory.

I'm a big fan of Springer in keeper leagues. My two keeper leagues I have him and couldn't be happier. However, I play OBP leagues. Springers never going to have a great BA so if you are in a league that uses BA I would say he would need to be downgraded pretty significantly. If it's OBP I'd probably rank them Carlos Gomez George Springer Buster Posey Michael Brantley Adrian Beltre Victor Martinez Adam Wainwright Bryce Harper Jordan Zimmerman Jon Lester Tyson Ross (I'm totally buying him as a stud) Starlin Marte Albert Pujols Adrian Gonzalez Jose Reyes Sonny Gray Jeff Smarzdjajkds;fjaadjaeru Julio Tehran Matt Kemp James Shields Carlos Gonzalez (Injuries just terrify me with him) Gerrett Cole Ian Kinsler Prince Fielder Gio Gonzalez If it's a BA League then I'd end up dropping Brantley down a few slots. I'm also crazy high on Kris Bryant so if he was out there I'd probably jump on him in the Brantley to Harper tier. I also don't know your league mates so you could get him much lower I just know that I had to draft him early in my Keeper league where he wasn't kept.
