  2. to revise my earlier request: i'll trade my circa survive/mewithoutyou for your mystery side-by-side, if you're willing
  3. If anyone can grab me (or has already grabbed an extra copy of) the mystery side by side, I would greatly appreciate it. For some reason it is one of the only releases I enjoy grabbing every year, but I am down for the count with the stomach flu. Thanks in advance / you're the best / love you!!
  4. didn't alex drum on mookie's last christmas? i know that's just one song, but god damn that chorus is incredible, largely because of the drumming
  5. yeah, i didn't want to be that guy who talked down on both tracks... i think both songs have solid instrumentals, but both choruses that fall flat big time for me. like, they have nowhere near the energy of the verses instrumentally or vocally.
  6. that was so weird. wasn't even aware they were able to fund the album that way, because i didn't know they released it. guess i have some catching up to do. EDIT: nevermind -- just saw on wikipedia that they never actually released anything. or is this the same album from that weird preorder? man, what a shit show.
  7. then i stand corrected! guess it's me who hasn't been around much, not him
  8. right, but it also just seemed like he didn't press anything for a while, too. i had actually thought the label was defunct and no sleep just took on the rest of his inventory.
  9. this. i was pretty late to the party, but as i familiarized myself with HHH's catalog, i was drawn much more to the old stuff. i'm glad that animal style is back in the biz, at least. always quality stuff. matt was off the radar for a long time there.
  10. good thing i caught up on this. alright, see you fools tomorrow
  11. just about to ask if someone had heard anything in this regard. thanks! already sounds a bit more up-tempo than pretty much everything on the full-length. love those horns.
  12. name taken - hold on every time i die - from parts unknown odd project - the second hand stopped the wonder years, last night bob's burgers
  13. i think few people are brave enough to admit they still enjoy early 2000s nu-metal, so good on you
  14. this mashup might hold up better than linkin park's old stuff. listened to it a few weeks ago and may have enjoyed it more than i would enjoy hybrid theory today, although i don't know if that's saying a whole lot
  15. so much better than the rotten poop sludge color. gonna live with it, though
  16. keith is a fucking brilliant lyricist. also, i'll never give up my copy of hot damn... sorry homies
  17. help out a brother who never participates in this thread: my fiancee found out her doctoral placement is in hawaii, and we'll be there a few years. i had figured i'd be driving all our shit wherever we ended up so there would be little to no shipping of personal items, but this kind of throws a wrench in the gears. i'll probably end up selling a lot of records, but for the ones i want to keep: anyone have advice on mailing hundreds of records?
  18. never been a problem until no sleep wet the bed. this is really the only instance of TWY fans having issues with delivery times on records
