what's a "white" version? clear with white splatter? because that's what i got. i should've heeded the warnings. this is by far the worst-goddamn-sounding vinyl i own. almost certain i could copy the cd to cassette, copy the cassette to an 8-track, and cut a lathe from the 8-track and it'd still sound better

yeah, to confirm, LPOE just redirects to the normal TWY site. i am cautiously optimistic about this song... i have no doubt this album will blow me away, but this as a lead single, while good, doesn't rival cardinals or screen door, at least in terms of emotional weight, which is where they always get me why?

radio silence on dan's end throughout this whole process (sent him a couple of emails between december and now re: shipping). not entirely optimistic the shipping gets resolved... and i will be kind of pissed if it comes in a regular envelope (as @Sasansaid above) because that kind of shit rarely survives a transpacific shipment

yeah -- between L&M and his "solo" stuff, only three or so (of the 10ish albums) really speak to me, otherwise they're whatevs. but given how prolifically he churns them out, i forgive him

bumping this because it deserves it. this is definitely more contemplative post-rock (as opposed to whimsical, upbeat, soaring), which is my jam. lights & motion (and his brainchild, christoffer franzen) is all over the place with his releases, so at least some of his tunes will strike a chord with any post-rock/cinematic rock/ambient fan. this is also originally a deep elm release, so if you've trusted them to deliver you athletics, latterman, or the appleseed cast, trust them with this
