  1. If only the Bad Brains show was the night before RSD instead of 2 nights before. I'd probably have enough adrenaline to be one of those crazy people waiting outside at around 2AM...assuming HR doesn't freak out and leave.
  2. I remember those assholes. They were walking out with the records as I was going in.
  3. I got there around 5:30 or 6. The only thing that kept me going was the Sonic we picked up down the street. haha The only two records I missed out on were the Menzingers Chamberlain Waits and Piebald's 3LP due to still being relatively far back in line. I wound up getting Piebald later that day from Rise's eBay so it wasn't too bad. My fiancee wound up going to Holdfast in Asbury and scored some awesome Chunksaah stuff and Bouncing Souls Live at Generation on Red. I would rather go to Holdfast this year, but there is no way I can make it out to NJ on Saturday. This year I hope I am able to get some of what is on my list. Repo hasn't listed the second half of their list yet so I am not sure about that status of any records past the letter "N." But so far the only major disappointments are I won't be able to get that Botch record since they won't be carrying it and I will miss out on the Portugal. The Man performance / record release. But I much prefer Repo's $5.99 price tag on the Dave Hause 7" as opposed to VVinyl's $14.99 which is crazy.
  4. I will probably wind up at Repo Records in Philly this year. I went to Vintage Vinyl last year in the cold and got mostly what I wanted, but that was easier when I lived in Newark. I will attempt to pick up some leftovers at Generation the next day since I will be up in NYC for Refused.
  5. Got refunded for The Queen is Dead and No Trigger's Canyoneer so this was an easy decision
  6. I will be at the Philly show Wednesday. If anyone can't make it out to any of the shows and wants me to pick something up for them let me know. I am not sure what they will have in stock (it seems to have varied), but I will try my best to help out. Shoot me a PM.
  7. I am very for this. eBay not only makes it more difficult to sell vinyl due to inflated prices, but I also feel like I rip people off just to break even on a record due to all their fees. I am a newer member to discogs, but I have experienced some issues when trying to add variants or even master releases. While I have gotten approval for some I noticed it is usually a long, cumbersome process. I have many more obscure records that are still sitting in queue to be reviewed/approved. What suggestions do you have to improve this process? I have tried posting on the forums there to help push some of them. How do you handle shipping on discogs as opposed to eBay? One thing I do enjoy about eBay is they provide a discount on shipping services and include free tracking. Is there a way you can do this without having to go through them or do I just charge the buyer what I paid at the post office?
  8. http://www.barsuk.com/shop/bark125 TRACKLIST 1. old & gray 2. fever 3. winter 4. remote & dark years 5. silver self 6. vampires 7. be three years old 8. bugs 9. old ash 10. important
  9. I really want to get this and the new OFF! record, but both are on white and after shipping it will be $36. Hmm...
  10. I just picked up a copy of Classics of Love AOTU 7" in Philly Friday for their tour with BTMI! Asian Man Records has them on their website if anyone is interested. Coincidentally, I saw The Night Birds the night before with The Casualties and would love to have a copy of their 7". If anyone wants to make a trade for it or sell it, I'd be very interested.
  11. Same here. Any educated guesses on what they might be this year? I am non the fence with getting both packs.
  12. Even for RSD, go to Generation Records. I will still be in Philly for RSD that weekend, but I plan on picking up some of their leftover stuff the next day since I'm going to see Refused too. Last year they still had some great stuff the next day.
  13. How are they going to fit this on a 7"? Even at 33rpm I don't think it will fit (if it does, it will sound like shit). The album is about 24 minutes long.
  14. Silver is sold out. I had it in my cart, but couldn't justify the $40 regardless.
  15. that's why I didn't know, I thought it looked too good to be one Damn...that looks awesome. Congrats!
  16. I am interested in one of the screen printed copies. Is it just the sleeve or the same full copy that you would get in the pack?
  17. I'm really hoping they get copies of this for the US. The exchange rate together with international shipping is brutal.
  18. If anyone is interested Chuck Ragan also mentioned a Joe Ginsberg/Jon Gaunt Split EP for the Revival Tour. It will be going up on iTunes 3/20 and the vinyl will be sold on Tour. I did not catch any details on pressing information.
  19. That's a lame response from them. It's a shame, because they have some great bands on their label. I have the Plow United collection from the LTJ 20th anniversary tour and The Have Nots Proud which I bought from the band the other night on their tour with Anti-Flag. I am still considering purchasing The Have Nots Serf City before it becomes OOP. I also wouldn't mind those Stephen Egerton and Riot Before albums either.
  20. Thanks! That was painless. Got one for myself and another for a friend.
  21. And for the third time this week here come the refunds for the out of stock vinyl... Braid Movie Music Volume One is no longer available. I wish these DBs would be more real time like concert ticket purchases. It gets annoying when you pay for something, don't get it and have to wait a while to get your money back.
