  1. Anyone knows if the 2012 "RSD Reissue" was actually a real reissue? Or did they just slap some new "RSD 2012" stickers on old stock? I was just on discogs checking, and it seems the deluxe art boxes from 2006 and 2012 have the same exact details. Barcodes, matrix run-outs etc. Any help would be great!
  2. Fuck. I just relistened to Maiden's The Book Of Souls. I thought it was boring at first but it suddenly struck a chord with me. Probably gonna end up in my list as well...
  3. Very nice! Did you manage to see them live this year? I was lucky to see them at Groezrock
  4. Interesting and cool list! What struck out for me was your inclusion of Going Nowhere Fast over Hero Of Our Time. Always thought the latter is one of the best punk albums I've heard.
  5. Still looking for a tour press white too. I have a pretty nice Beach Slang collection going and I'd like to maintain it. As I'm based in Singapore, there is absolutely no way I can get my hands on one from a show. If anyone is able to help it'd be super cool!
  6. Mostly American/British/mainstream stuff. The standard dad-rock stuff from the 70s, Beatles, 80s new wave, pop, and then there's indie/mainstream titles from today as well. The basic stuff such as The Black Keys, Ellie Goulding, The Arcade Fire, Arctic Monkeys, Jack White etc. I wish there was more punk/hardcore/metal stuff
  7. Singapore is a great place for tourists! For record stores, not that much though... The stuff at the place I work at is mostly used 80s 'trash'.
  8. This happens to me a lot as well. But thankfully I meet more nice people than idiots! Perhaps I'm helped by the fact that I work only twice a week there, so I don't get tooooo sick of it. I absolutely find it hilarious when people totally oblivious to records come in and are like 'wow these discs still exist!', or like 'are these laser discs??' And I get totally annoyed whenever older people come in and say something snobbish like 'all you kids only listen to digital music nowadays'...
  9. Heads up guys! The band just posted leftovers of the clear variant and magenta of 'The Last Thing You Forget'. http://www.titlefight.limitedrun.com/
  10. I do! Let's share our stories! Like last week, a woman was asking her husband who Jack White is, and the guy was just like 'Jack Black's arch enemy' hahahaha.
  11. Wahhahhahahaha!!! Loved your video dude!!!! That eerie music made it intense!
  12. Thought I couldn't like you any more, but I guess the world is a pretty unpredictable place!
  13. Yea I love TAITA as well! But a little less than TIOS. TAITA sounds more mature and contained. I still prefer TIOS for its rage and aggressiveness. I mean, there are so many 10/10 songs there. In Years To Come, Deadbolt, To Awake and Avenge the Dead, Betrayal is a Symptom...
  14. Lol. Am I the only one who feels The Illusion Of Safety is their best? A perfect melodic hardcore album. So fast, so aggressive, so technical, so creative.
  15. Exactly.. He could have waited 3 more months or so to do the pre-order. But he did mention he has big plans for 2016 as well so maybe he needs the money now.
  16. My current collection! Not the prettiest, but it'll do. The 2 squares on the top left are for my 10"s and 7"s. The 2 squares at the bottom right are for box sets and random stuff like posters etc. On the top of the shelf are 2 more boxes. One is another box of 7"s and the other is a box of tapes (about 20).
  17. Why limit it to the 80s? There are plenty of underrated artists from the 90s onward too.
