To the OG poster. The newer hype around the band and all these new people jumping on the bands older releases I would guess mostly has to do with a ton of blogs/websites talking about an "emo revival" and including this band in the discussion. A lot of people are just now becoming aware of how good the band was and how good the music still is.

There was a local ska band from around my area called Crazy Brass Smackers. They had a whole table of 7 inches that just had white sleeves and the record slid down into them for $1 a piece back in the day. I had four in my hand I was going to buy to help the band out with gas. I put them back to watch the rest of the show and got sidetrack and never went back to pick them up. I still wish I had one of those. You only get the chance to get some of that stuff a few times and once those bands vanish and the members grow up or move on it's nearly impossible to get some of that stuff.

Wow. For that price the record should come with the members of You Blew It!'s first born children.

Got this today. Looks really great. Might have to break in the new year with a listen. I think this pressing or the MTS swirl variants might be the best looking ones done of this album.

Got Juturna today. Looks really good. Going to try and listen to it tonight. Side-note: This was the worst packed record I've received from Hot Topic in a long time. Just the record sitting in a mailer. No bubble wrap or cardboard. The box was smashed on one side and I was gearing up for a disaster...luckily everything was okay.

A couple of these do need new presses, but like many have said most of these are fairly cheap in used record bins. I'd like to have a copy of Psycho Circus. I have a fairly large Kiss collection. My favorite records of theirs that I put on and listen to the most usually end up either being the first album, Creatures Of The Night, or the Ace album with the "New York Groove" cover on it.

Yeah it is really neat looking. I also kind of like the coke bottle clear. It's nothing fancy but it looks good with the labels.

Look a few post above and see that the person complaining that their record skipped was most likely due to a poor quality record player. What type of player do you have?

I get what you are saying but I'm sure they sell enough copies of this album to keep things profitable. They probably only need to sell a portion of every pressing to break even or turn a profit.

Yep. I wait it out with everything. I've only bought one thing from ebay. The NFG s/t picture disc. I either get lucky and find something at a record store, get it when it goes up, miss out, or wait for a repress. It might take a few years for things to come back around, but it pays off in the end price wise. To the original poster it might be cool to get all the splatters, but honestly If I were you I'd just grab the split that's up on Hot Topic now, that has the retail price, and if you ever see a splatter for a fair price complete the set at that point.

Not too much that interest me so far. I guess off the list Switchfoot interest me the most. I saw them live like 13 years ago a few years before they had the big success and they were okay. They played with Relient K, who at that time had only 1 album out, and The OC Supertones. I've gotten back into them a little more recently since they did that Guitar Center Sessions show.

Did you get a digital download code with this? I didn't grab this before it sold out (had to save some money for Christmas)...figured if it had a digital download code it might show up on youtube or in stores like iTunes or Amazon sometime soon. I want to hear these songs. The live video is awesome.

Got this in on Saturday. Finally had a chance to listen to it this morning. Sounds great. Really cool packaging. Easily one of the best albums released this year.

I was thinking this very thing. To the OP cheap poorly made record players won't add anything to the sound or listening experience of an album (IMO). In fact they will probably make the experience worse (which seems to be the case). There probably really isn't much you or her can do to fix that particular turntable. Unfortunately you usually end up getting what you pay for with items like that.

I think the orange variant might have lasted a little over a day.

Looks really good. I think it's cool the Red Star EP got included in the package "Non Dairy Creamer" is an awesome song.

The Ataris - All Souls Day & The Graveyard Of The Atlantic or Huntingtons - You're Not Right I've also got an original copy of The Cure's Just Like Heaven that I like quite a bit.

The pressing numbers released should be pretty accurate (there might have been a few more pressed over the released numbers - it happens some of the time). I would agree with you on holding out because at some point and time it should get pressed again.

Oh man haha I post about that crazy Thrice experience about one minute after you post about Thrice (I saw your new reply pop up as I was typing my post). Somewhere an angel probably got their wings.

Yeah I got the old auto-check. I figured it is probably due to the holiday season and them getting a ton of orders. This whole process reminds me a little of the Thrice Vheissu pressing a couple years ago. I believe there was a lot of auto checking with those orders (If I'm not mistaken). It's not quite as crazy as that pressing, but still it seems to be the bane of some people's holiday shopping experience

Always happy to buy your pressings. Really great quality and nice packaging. Really glad some of the older Cartel music has finally been pressed.

Got this and the Blink Buddha in today. Looks really good. Glad this is finally pressed. Interesting it came out through Staple Records. I wondered if it would come out through Amy's (Fiddler Records) new label Animal Manufacturing Co. like Name Taken did. Guess not.

I'm surprised the most limited variant of this hasn't sold out yet. Hey Thomas is this the release Jesse Cannon was talking about on the Ap podcast?

I was able to grab Juturna before the out of stock things went up. I'm with you though I'm wondering if these went up to early. It seems like it sold out extremely quick.
