  1. I can't believe people are willing to pay $100,000 on what is essentially a wood crate box in piss poor condition.
  2. I didn't even think it was that rare of a record there were copies being sold on eBay for less than $30 for what seems like less than a year ago.
  3. Not at all. The only member they've ever replaced is Steineckert the drummer. Research is fun. I believe Steineckert left (or got the boot) after the band and him had differences regarding the musical direction and style the band was going. After some of the stuff they've come out following his departure it's kinda hard to blame him.
  4. wow I got my green copy maybe a year ago for $30 shipped and now I see they're "Buy It Now" for $190? Had no clue this record was so sought after, I woulda bought 2 if I knew it'd be hard to get my hands on another one in the future.
  5. Oh man, so nice to finally read stuff along these lines. I thought this opinion was few and far between. Seeing the Yeezus thread almost makes me cringe that people honestly glorify that garbage with such seriousness. Especially because for me, if lyrics are that shitty can make or break a song, album, no matter how good the music is. THRONE DON'T LET ME GET IN MY ZONE i mean even this song is great until for some reason Jay Z gives Kanye the floor and lets him open his dumb yapper. Just terrible as far as intelligent lyrics. I guess we all get dumbfounded from time to time, I can't believe people defend Yeezus or Kanye as a person either.
  6. I guess I don't get how even people who were 13 would spend any time putting this garbage in their ears.
  7. Thank you captain obvious. Nobody was disputing this. And that's not easy to find out and that's exactly what I'm talking about. Its strange that even with ALL the vinyl enthusiasts on this site, and with a person who works directly with Hot Topic, that nobody on here seems to know when they're going to go online but this person on eBay who's doubling up does.
  8. Don’t see how your theory is any more valid than mine. How do they know when it is going to go up on the HT website? How do they know they're going to get that many copies? I get on the site within the day of releases to get 1 personal press and stuff is increasingly getting sold out by the time I get there. There's a connection somewhere. If an employee is openly admitting that they use their discount to flip a record, they probably don't hesitate to hook up a friend or themselves to double their money. Because why would you put yourself on the line and pre-sell 5 copies if you might only get your hands on 3?
  9. It's one thing if you *think* you're going to get your hands on ONE copy, but when you're preselling FIVE total copies, something is up. This person either works at Hot Topic or knows someone that works at Hot Topic who gives them a heads up and holds the copies until your*disney*helper gets there to buy all of them.
  10. Can't imagine they sold out. Looks like they're off the site. Maybe they weren't supposed to be listed yet?
  11. Have a red copy to sell, just looking for cost+shipping. And by cost I mean $80 and by shipping I mean $10 so it'll be $90
  12. Yah not gonna give them $50 but I will buy the splatter. LOL $13 for shipping fuck that I'll wait for Amazon to have it.
  13. fucking ads getting their piece of action before a vid about busting a ring of child abusing assholes, what a classy world we live in...
  14. All the bundles are fucking gone. Who are all these people suddenly into buying bundles with vinyl and where the fuck are they getting all their money?
  15. That photo is fucking ridiculous. Obvious there was a lack of care taken to ensure the package was not damaged. Shipping is USPS' fucking BUSINESS for craps sake. They should be THE BEST at doing this stuff. And saying it was received that way is complete bullshit, they would never take a package in that condition and just throw it in the shipping pile, they would wrap that mother in clear tape to ensure it didn't get worse. Pretty obvious the cardboard mailer was damaged in transit, a heavier package was probably on top of the record and caught that corner.
