  1. Anybody just catch the TNA commercial during RAW?
  2. I can back up my opinion. They have been rehashing the same boring sound since I first saw them which was when I was.....wait for it......14. Die for your government just came out. They would go on these long tangents on stage about how you can never trust big business and that cops suck and smash corporations etc etc. Then they go on huge tours and play in huge clubs sponsored by big business and corporations with cops working to protect the bands playing. These guys have been a joke for years. The other thing is that they put out a $16 two song ep and you guys go crazy over buying it. Then they put out the same ep with autographs on it and you guys go nuts buying it. I am confused how you dont see how lame that is. Have you seen them lately? A majority of the audience that digs them are 16 year old new punk kids. In a couple years they will joke about how they used to like them when they are now listening to indie rock and posting on vinyl collecting message boards.
  3. That venue also sucks. Anyone who would pay that is an idiot. I am 90% sure that posting cant be real.
  4. I just think its funny an "anti-conformist" and "anti-capitalist" band plays the Warped tour every year, plays at The Hard Rock Cafe and sells $16 novelty ep's. Then they put up the same record, but autographed, for sale? Give me a break. They also hate cops except for when they stop 16 year old kids from bothering them at the Warped tour or when they stop 16 year old kids from coming backstage at the Hard Rock.
  5. My Ebullition order was confirmed today. I am stoked to hear the Manpig record. Also http://youtu.be/GHCZKddQ_2g
  6. The Rhodes Scholars are the best tag team in the WWE right now. Team Hell No needs to drop the belts and let D Bry go back to singles matches.
  7. I could be wrong but I think most of it was filmed really close to his death.
  8. Booked my room today. Going to book my flight later tonight. Its expensive as hell to fly from the east coast.
  9. Have any of you guys seen the link from the show Infest played last night? I am at work so it's blocked on here but I just watched it on my phone. Really makes me want to go to Texas.
  10. So many questions. People still like Anti-Flag? Members of Anti-Flags autographs are valuable and people really want them? Anti-Flag records hold enough value that they can be flipped for profit? People still listen to dudes in there mid thirties play crappy punk about how cops suck? So confused.
  11. I have gone the last two years as well. I am definatly going this year. I agree about last year. It was like walking on quiksand. The other problem was the beer tents on the first night. I waited like 40 minutes to get a drink then I realized I was in Vegas and could drink all night after the show.Haha One of the best things about this is the record stores/distros that set up tents. So many good purchases.
  12. Maneatingcow, this is the copy I want. It just does not pop up that often around here.
  13. So glad I don't have to deal with shit like this. I have been married for over two years and we have been together for almost 10. When you find the girl who doesn't play these weird games with you its awesome. P.S. She is traveling on what I assume is a long trip to see Underoath. BREAK UP WITH HER.
  14. Also, Grave Mistake records just posted an update in one of the other forums. I suggest you guys check out his webstore. Its awesome, he has all of the new releases and they are all reasonably priced. Highly highly recommended.
  15. Will order from when I get home. Said it once will say it again....Best distro/label.
  16. The Charlestown robbery boom was in the late 80's into the early 90's. I remember when these guys were big in the Oxy game. They didn't really rob banks they would just rob the pharmacy. CVS's and Walgreens were robbed on a regular basis sometimes multiple times a month. On a sidenote, I really love Boston based movies. I pick apart things that are wrong in them all the time. It drives my wife crazy.
  17. "The Town" was about bank robberies. At one point an area a little south of Boston was averaging multiple armored car/bank robberies a week. Its a good movie. Affleck knows how to get people to do the accent right and it was mostly shot here so it was fun for me to watch. Oxymorons got good reviews around here and I remember when oxy blew up so I am really curious to watch it.
  18. I really want a copy of the first press of Zen and the art of beating your ass. It came out on a Japanese label and sounds way more fuzzy and loud then the Havoc press. I have only seen a copy of it once and didn't buy like an idiot. I am going to see MFP, Prisoner Abuse, The Inmates and Rampage tonight in Cambridge. Should be a good time.
  19. I refuse to see the remakes of the Texas Chainsaw movies. The original is one of my favorites of all time and I don't want to see it bastardized. I bought Oxymorons on dvd a couple days ago and will prob watch it this weekend. Has anyone in here seen it? Its an independent film about the oxy boom in massachusetts in the late 90s early 2000's. The director/writer/producer/lead actor was actually a dealer and went to jail for it. It had gotten really good reviews and alot of people have told me to check it out. I just don't know if it has been talked about outside of Ma. For anyone that cares I will let you guys know what I think about it after I watch it.
