I don't even know where to start with Alexh's response....... Have you have ever seen evanescence live? Holy shit that girl has some pipes and can play the shit out of the piano. pretty fucking talented, and I love supporting talented musicians. Fallen came out in 2003. The blink 182 TYPO... Came out in 2001. Is that not nostalgic? I want Chevelle to come out with their back catalogue on vinyl. Their early stuff predates "fallen". I think we can throw the nostalgia argument out the window. I can't stand a lot of music that people push on here, but I've learned of some great music as well. Bottom line is you came into a thread of a band you don't like and somehow think your arguments can make sense. How can you tell somebody that what you listen to is better ( and nobody is saying evanescence is their favorite artist) and actually prove it? Yeah! You come off as pretentious. C'mon. Obviously bands who get radio play aren't talented musicians or appeal to anybody. That's why they need help and are thrown in our face. The bands who you've never heard of are obviously the ones hoarding all the talent. I get it now

Really?! If its good...put it out! I'm pretty sure these bands wouldn't be the first to have debut material on vinyl. Or tell everyone the bands so you can get a real idea of the interest.

This is up. Anyone else have trouble with cookie settings and actually getting through the checkout? I could say this about a lot of bands discussed here, and some..... very popular. But, if you don't like them then don't comment and don't read it. You're not changing anybody's mind and really just wasting time.

The labels / distributors need to limit the amount per purchase to make it fair for the fans / buyers. If not the market will take over. Pretty simple economics really. So blame them, not the person making a buck, whether on purpose or not. I think this goes for concert tickets too by the way. Oh! "Records are only for listening" - Then stop buying multiple variants bc you're not listening to all of them. I don't sell records by the way and it does suck when you don't get that one you want! And... I have some records that are still sealed but I have no idea if the shrink wrap damages them. Some others made good points for both. So the argument continues.....
