  1. Reckless usually keeps their online inventory pretty current (or used to anyway), so if there’s things you are looking for, that can help you figure out which of their locations have it.

If you like hardcore, definitely hit up Kuma’s for a burger. I’ve only been to the Belmont location but there’s a few others I think.

Like... I'd love to support this band, the label has put out some quality releases, but that mega jump in price makes it seem like they'll be sitting on these for quite some time too.

Yeah, I mean, no new/different music and even the same interview from the 2011 press in a “fresh new layout”.

I will also be in the pool of old dudes (32).

Hotelier is in my top 5 bands and I’ve never seen them. They were super active during this album, then only the 1-2 tours they did for Goodness and then all East coast.

The only time I could have gone was after work in Santa Ana and then all hell broke loose at work and I had to do work until like midnight. This is why IT people are angry all the time ha.

    I was 32 when these albums came out . . .

It was absolutely insane and still kinda high for what it is even today. But I don't regret it one bit, VMP did an incredible job mastering those records.

I couldn’t justify it because I only really love Good Morning Spider (and I already had that from the Plain press), but hearing the raves about the sound quality did give me a bit of remorse. I’ll say I didn’t notice the issues with my Plain press that it seems others did.

  5. Been a long time. Got ManDancing but still looking for these if anyone has these super-available vinylz just sitting around:

    Soup - Children of E.L.B.

Will Wood - The Normal Album (/100 w/ silk-screened jacket)

    Augie March - Strange Bird

David Keenan - Evidence of Living

Monsters Build Mean Robots - We Should Have Destroyed Our Generals Not Their Enemies

The Mountain Goats - Come, Come to the Sunset Tree

  6. Seem to only be available in Europe currently. No clue on numbers/distribution but I’m not keen on waiting. First vinyl press for Dance the Devil and first one since OP for Another Love Song. Looks like maybe this Fitzcarraldo appears to have the 1996 track list as opposed to the MOV vinyl version that was based on the original 1995 release.

Looks like it’s shipping in early June. This was the cheapest I found for US shipping, though I admit I didn’t shop around a ton:
