Another vote for Goo-Gone. I moisten my fingertip and touch the spot/label/residue that needs to be removed. Wait a minute and then wipe carefully with a soft cloth. Repeat if necessary.

That photo is not a phonograph. Barely a record player. (just needs some Mickey Mouse ears) You music will thank you for moving that out. Don't ruin your collection by attempting to play them on inferior equipment.

eBay has a great "save search" function to let you know as new titles are posted. I use it a ton.

I made mine out of MDF. Nice, because you can fit it exactly to the space you are going to use it in, like a walk in closet etc.. And MDF takes paint very well so that you can match your decor.

I just got the same email... Oh well, it was worth a shot.

Not charging for shipping would KILL this project. Think about it. 220 LPs shipped worldwide. Even with an average cost of say $5 in postage and supplies (mailing box, labels etc). x 220 is $1,100 per album. $4,400 for our 1st 4 pressings and near zero to rollover into more albums. Please think about this. Who would gripe about paying reasonable shipping to get a free album? Or combine it with another LP. This will be OUR money and I think we would all like to see it last. Oh yeah, postage rates are going up next month...
