Yes! I thought it was some German bootleg pressing with low quality mp3s up'd on the vinyl but my worst fees were undone when I dropped the needle. Really awesome for live recordings, #DBA ftw

its probably because they try and send the records so a lot of people get them on or the day after the release date

Dear user who keeps giving me -1 for being an active member on V.C. Keep on keeping on maybe a little less negativity, a little more positivity will help in your endeavors on obtaining this Ty Segall Band record.

Two questions:
 
1) I snagged a copy of CHVRCHES at Urban today but I haven't opened it yet. No "exclusive" sticker on front... are they ALL red if purchased at Urban? I already have a black so I don't want to open another one...
 
2) What makes some UO exclusives so much more sought after than others? M83, Father John Misty, Bon Iver... those fetch crazy prices. Regina Spektor, Feist, Twin Shadow... you can find those at most UO still kickin' around. What's the deal? 

But my point is that all the bands I mentioned have colored UO vinyl but some are way more sought after than others

I was told yesterday by phone from the store that 11spot now runs their orders and distribution so they would have to go back and forth with them then to me. So far nothing yet this noon. 
Curious to know if anyone ordered the Nirvana cult record in green recently?

Ok I tried just now and it's non editable at the PayPal site.  I added the Summer Twins 7" to the cart. Kinda sucks it had to be this way but Summer Twins is good too!

E-mailed Sean all my problems he ended up sending the concerns to 11spot and I was helped out really well! New website kinks they're working out. It's all good!

Not trying to stir anything up here, but this would lead me to believe that they intended for this to be an "unlimited" release to begin with. It is highly unlikely that they would have been able to order a significant amount more of these and then get them out to stores following the fairly recent announcement that this was going to be a wider release than originally stated.

I couldn't order it and I tried since 12:10pm pst.
 
Sucks! I keep getting some PayPal gateway error even though I've even tried to pay with debit card. Maybe it's plain sold out. 

I don't want to turn this into that kind of thread, but if you don't think White Crosses is better than New Wave, you're wrong. I also happen to think all the fully-produced albums are better than the demos though, so WHAT DO I KNOW.

Just ordered. BN said the availability is usually 1-2 weeks with 2.98 express 1-3 day delivery. Not sure if I'm going to get the "no longer in stock e-mail" but for under 15$ it's worth a shot.
 
UPDATE JAN 24. 
So epic fail post, sorry about that gang. Turns out Barnes and Noble promised it would be in stock but finally ruled it out of stock last week.
 
 
I e-mailed Captured Tracks and they said it's definitely being repressed and they would have it available mid-March at the latest so there's that, good luck!

Just for kicks and giggles, Hillcrest is my favorite area in San Diego!

I get paranoid they'll never get it, OR are more prone to just saying they never got the package. (Probably they'll just pull the trigger early and complain on PayPal although the package is still on it's way) They get the refund + the 2 week late package.

This thread just makes me think that I still don't understand why people frame records.
I mean, I sorta kinda get it, and you can do whatever you want with your stuff, but... I just don't really understand, don't think I ever will.
If you had some giant ass print of the artwork, that's one thing. Removing the record and having a special place for that too, no. What. No.

What in the world? I just don't see how that would benefit him (the mailman) besides get himself fired.

Good thread, bad location. Belongs in everything else. Also. The noun is record. Vinyl isn't the singular of vinyl. Also vinyl is not a word.
