bump coz landlords breathing down my neck

Hi guys, I'm hoping somebody might be able to diagnose an issue I'm having. There's a scratchy noise when I play records, and an intermittent "clock" sound at the same time on each rotation. The sound doesn't come through the speakers or headphones, and is drowned out when I play at higher volumes. It's not a massive deal but I don't think it's natural and I'd rather not damage my records. I've set up the turntable as if unboxing for the first time and the sound still persists. It's not present on the 45 setting. Anybody heard of this before or have an idea of what the problem is? Thanks in advance.

if you go on to your account page, then memberships, you're given an option to swap the record of the month. if you click on that, it will show you all the records available to swap. it's usually previous ROTM and other exclusives, but I don't think you can see until they release the new ROTM.

I absolutely love this song. It's gonna divide opinions but they know what they're doing, the rest of the album will be more palatable. The video is awesome too. Can anybody recommend albums like 1989? Female singer with an 80s pop vibe.
