Got my order in after its 9-day trek to Texas. It's 10 for 10, all records in perfect shape. Let's do wave 2.

Today I received a shipping confirmation from my 11/12 purchase. 7.9 lbs. and I ordered 10 LPs, so I have my fingers crossed that all have shipped.

Picked up 10 for $76.10. Not a bad haul considering the quality selection and free shipping. I missed out on a few due to making my selections last night but not being able to purchase until this evening. Has anyone here built their own record storage cabinet? I have been considering repurposing an old stereo console for vinyl storage, or trying my hand at carpentry and building my own custom piece. Thing is, I'm going to have a kiddo within the next few months, and I want to be prepared for her crawling/teething stages and build a unit that has locking doors. Anyway, I wanted to see if anyone knows of any available plans or a good resource with which to begin.

I saw these guys in at The Door in Dallas years ago, probably 2003 or 2004. It was predominantly a Christian venue. John Reuben, a white Christian rapper was playing, so some friends and I went to the show and saw the opening band, OTMOP. They got on stage, Jason commented on the fact that they were opening for two other hip hop artists, and said "Alright, this one is for all you fuckin' b-boys out there." He was subsequently yelled at by the sound guy for cursing, to which Jason whispered into the microphone, "Oh...I'm sorry!" I never got into OTMOP, but I was sad to hear of Jason's death.

Very excited to hear this. Now I can cross out All Ears All Eyes from my vinyl press wishlist!
