A new album, Glass, by Alva Noto & Ryuichi Sakamoto is an ambient delight. Playing it now and it is really moving me. Available everywhere.

you know, i have was dead & his other two sub pop albums and thought they were all pretty good. but i don't know if i want to add a fourth record by him, tho i'm sort of a little bit curious. loser sounds like it will look nice.

message to dudes getting uptight about inner sleeve seam splits: vinyl is not for everyone. having said that, white paper inner sleeves costs less than a penny each when purchased in bulk. if i had a record label and was producing beautiful albums with artworked inner sleeves, i would ship the actual vinyl record in a white paper sleeve, so no damage could potentially happen to the inner sleeve during shipping. next, i will solve any political problem anyone would care to throw at me.

got my green ogre pressing from stolen body. listening now. nice looking, sounds pretty. good. both pressings i've heard have distorted drums on the louder tracks, which is kind of a bummer to my ear, but i guess that's how they wanted it, for some reason.

I see that Blood Music is finally sold out of the blue yellow splatter pressing. Got mine today. No inner sleeve splits. Very clean pressing. No pops. They are very prog on this album. sounds like Gong, Gentle Giant and a little Tull, at least to my ear. Funstuff.

$25/disk seems about the usual.

regret not getting the first 2. had that santana in my cart but never pulled the trigger. so i'll probably buy this one, though it seems like demand will be less than for the others.
