I need to get out of the other forum more. This is an incredible thread, amazing, and thanks for posting. Thanks for what you are doing with these kids, and as you've indicated, they give back a ton without even knowing it. Which makes it that much more incredible. 

Figured this was an alright place to put this. Seems Appleseed Cast stopped by Daytrotter studios and recorded a set with them. Mostly stuff from IR but also a track called Bury Your Island that I couldn't find on any info on. Anyway, here ya go:

Yeah, this kid was a bit spacey and academically low, so when I read his poems, they floored me.  I wish I could steal, "Water from God biting water forever." I don't know what it means, but it sounds cool. Kids are a lot deeper than most people think. Just have to give them the space and encouragement to let it out.
Yes, a public school in a high poverty area in Northern California. I get them for 3rd and our school gets to keep them for the 6th, then it's off to middle school aka hell.

I originally looked at this thread only because the band shares the same name of my baseball team, but after I started listening to them I was blown away. Got my order yesterday and sounds beautiful on vinyl. Thank you!

I love that they made the digital release easily available to fans. I bought the vinyl immediately when it went up. Not only is the music amazing, but these are really great guys behind the music. Buy this!
