Found an original US Capitol press of Blue Bell Knoll at my shop for $17 a couple months back so I snagged it but I've been holding off on Heaven Or Las Vegas because of the spike in prices as of late (plus crazy high shipping from Europe). True story: I saw Minus The Bear at the NorVa a couple years ago before Infinity Overhead came out and was front row. Dave threw a guitar pick in my direction and everyone including myself tried to find it on the floor to no avail. After the show, I reached into the front pocket of my shirt for a cigarette and the pick was in there. I don't know what the chances of that happening are but I still have the pick. It has the MTB logo on one side and Dave's name on the other.

I feel so mainstream for working at Starbucks I just wish more people appreciated the craft and it wasn't about coffee-less vanilla bean frappuccinos for 12 year old girls. I opened the first Clover store in the area and I'm selling maybe 3 reserve coffees a shift. Total bummer. But I do agree with HoneyFrosted. I've been drinking a Zambian peaberry from the Terranova Estate iced every day for about a month as my drink of choice.

Anyone else completely obsessed? I work at Starbucks and I know people tend to disregard us because they don't think we carry high quality coffee... I think they're just as grossed out as most baristas about Frappuccinos ruining coffee culture. I'm lucky enough to work at a reserve store where we carry exotic, single-origin, ethically sourced, one batch coffees. I guess the point of this thread is to share new coffees you try, the best you've ever tasted, brewing methods, kinds you'd like to try, and if anyone else works at an espresso bar this could be a forum to talk shit about your job! Personally, I think I found my favorite the other day. It's a Brazilian Bourbon Rio Verde. Notes of plum and milk chocolate. To die for.

The only reason I think Wild Nothing will drop a LP is because it would make so much sense. Gemini (LP, 2010), then Golden Haze (EP, late 2010 or 2011 I can never remember), then Nocturne (LP, 2012), then Empty Estate (EP, 2013).... It's just an interesting pattern. I have a feeling the next DIIV release will be a LP as well.

What do you guys think the chances of seeing a DIIV and a Wild Nothing release before the end of 2014 are?
