I just want a single color repress of kerplunk and insomniac to finish up my "good era green day collection" without holographic covers/pointless extra material I'd never spin/photobooks/enemal pins/tour laminate replicas/etc. I guess it's just too much to ask for in 2023 though🤣

You can get the Insomniac anniversary repress for $27ppd from Amazon. You can't ask for much better than that. Disc 1 is the album, don't spin Disc 2. Easy.

Should've done an "Silent Earth eco mix" variant to just sweep those leftover color pellets into the mix and charge max MSRP.

    Got you covered.  $25 PPD.

Probably the route I'm going since I think it's a way better match than current variants.  Discogs reviews are glowing as well so far.

Awesome. Noticed after my post the Amazon listing is black and priced according. Thanks for the heads up. Easy choice.

Fuck.. I need this.. Vault members is the full year or quarterly a better deal?  In other words have you found better value in the vault releases throughout the year ot more duds than stuff you listen to?

If you’re down for every vault release it is. I’m a huge TMR fan, but I only usually like one or two year. The tidal discount is nice, but I do a family plan for cheaper. So it’s really up to you and your use / needs. I think month to month is easier, and you can easily pause if you don’t like a release.

  4. Recorded with Andy Miller at Chemikal Underground and mixed by Gareth Jones at Castle Of Doom, ‘The Hawk Is Howling’ saw Mogwai return to a totally instrumental landscape on their sixth studio album. The album features the single ‘Batcat’.

To celebrate the 15th Anniversary of the release of the album will be made available as a newly remastered 2LP White Vinyl (limited to 4000) on 22nd September, fifteen years to the day since the album’s original release. The album was remastered by Frank Arkwright at Abbey Road Studios.

In addition to this special release, limited coloured vinyl represses of ‘Rock Action’, ‘Happy Songs For Happy People’, and ‘Mr. Beast’ will also release on 22nd September.

‘Rock Action’ will be pressed on transparent red vinyl (limited to 5000), ‘Happy Songs For Happy People’ on transparent green vinyl (limited to 5000) and ‘Mr. Beast’ on crystal clear vinyl (limited to 4000).
