Subdomestic
Some people were asking about that flexi disc in this thread: http://boards.vinylcollective.com/topic/104110-wtb-rural-alberta-advantage-terrified-flexi-7-pitchfork/ Maybe someone there can point you in the right direction? (I'd like to find one too )

patron
He grew up in Edmonton, and sings about it, and Alberta in a lot of their songs. The Ballad of The RAA, Deathbridge in LETHBRIDGE, Frank, AB, he name drops Edmonton in Four Night Rider, and then of course there's the song Edmonton. That's just on hometowns. Not sure what currently living in Toronto has to do with his statement. He definitely does romanticize Alberta, not even taking into account the bands name. Oh yeah, there's also Tornado '87 on Departing. Does the love grow, home with the wild rose? Broken down lovers in the city of oil. Sorry, I got carried away. But damn, these guys actually make me proud to be from Edmonton. Definitely wasn't saying that they're not from AB. They're based out of Toronto now, which would be like if Springsteen up and moved to Rhode Island.

Subdomestic
The one from Paper Bag Records is for the song "45/33". The one from Pitchfork is for " Terrified".
twentytwo
Why does Paper Bag keep putting out so many variants? They are bankrupting me with all of these different colors.
nelso330
If you read the deluxe one is sold out! But if your in USA saddle creek is the way to get it anyway! Way cheaper! I am getting mine for $18...versus like $35 via paper bag... Call your local store and have them order the deluxe for you! (if you have a store)

Subdomestic
I found this site with some pictures of the variants/packaging http://www.piratespress.com/cms/rotw/ We’re back at it yet again with a short but-sweet RECORD OF THE WEEK blog! Check out this week’s top pick from Canada’s Indie-Rockers in THE RURAL ALBERTA ADVANTAGE! Their new LP is entitled ‘Mended With Gold’ and features a 350gsm matte lamination jacket with gold foil printing! If that wasn’t impressive enough, the band also went with three different and equally eye-catching colored vinyl configurations! The ‘Beer’, ‘Gold’ in ‘Black’ Color-in-Color, and Black / ‘Gold’ Tri-Color choices look incredible! Awesome job all around with this one, guys! I had assumed that "striped" was a splatter. Didn't know there were this many options. Anyway, this looks awesome.

Just wondering if that yellow gold record is going to be a third variant when the gold splatter version sells out.

I am going to see them here in NYC maybe they'll have that one with them. I also ordered the striped deluxe. so well see..
nelso330
So saddle creek says there is an opague grey variant as the standard press and a clear with gold splatter, as there limited? Maybe that clear gold one is that? Or those 2 are from a total different plant? That's a lot of variants...
nelso330
Nm the pics are up at saddle creek as well! So there are 6 variants
parkinglot
Hoping there is a tour variant. I can't wait for the Edmonton date. Both shows already sold out.
