Psyre
I'm a little curious as to whether or not it's a boot, but I went ahead and picked one up for my SO's as a Christmas gift. I have seen a couple people wanting there to be a RE of this on here and figured I'd share. Reports I've read so far say it sounds outstanding. http://www.earcandymusic.biz/Various-Artists-Trainspotting-OST-2x-LP-Vinyl-p/c0003297.htm I got mine off of Discogs, and I have seen some cheaper on ebay. Fowty Dollaz
Maybe a MOV at that pricepoint?
sinatra.45
Looks like the same as this one? http://www.amazon.com/Trainspotting-Soundtrack-Import-2xlp-Vinyl/dp/B00004WPDP
museummouth
It's a boot. I found one in stores months ago. Sounds alright though.
Psyre
Can you tell from the sound quality whether it's a needledrop recording or digitally sourced? <$30 opposed to $150, I'll be okay if it is unofficial lol.
timsimmons
I wish this would get a legit repress. Best soundtrack.

Psyre
I wish this would get a legit repress. Best soundtrack. I'm curious to see how this will sound, it is indeed a boot, but other forums have reported it sounding fantastic. I find a lot of OST tracks pale in comparison to their album release versions, probably due to different sources used, but reports on the soundstage and clarity of this particular one has me excited. Plus the orange just looks right. I'm not sure about the forums rules on discussing boots, so if it isn't kosher to do so publicly and you are curious about the sound quality of this one feel free to shoot me a PM and I'll let you know how it sounds after I get it. For what it's worth, I called Ear Candy direct to ask if they had any info on it since they are showing four copies online. The guy flat out said it was a bootleg before I even got the question out of my mouth.
timsimmons
I picked up a copy of this off of eBay. It's clearly a boot, but it sounds pretty good. I don't have the OP, but I'm sure this has to sound as good as a record pressed in 1996.
ExtraFox
Official reissue of this came out a week ago: http://thevinylfactory.com/vinyl-factory-news/trainspotting-ost-vinyl-reissue/ Orange followed by black.

Been sitting at my local shop since the beginning of the month. I'd buy but the price is higher than I wanna pay for a soundtrack.
glass realms
Picked this up for $20 when it came out but haven't had a chance to listen to it yet.
timsimmons
It's well done. Sounds better than the boot. Nice to have a legit pressing. It's my favorite soundtrack of all time.
