Had my tragus & left eyebrow pierced back in the day, along with both ears twice @ 8 or 10 gauge & cartilage. Due to work & my body pushing my eyebrow piercing out I dont have 'em anymore. Thinking of doing my ears & maybe tragus again but thats probably it.

 

Knew a girl who had her nipples pierced & one morning she woke up to them sitting on her sheets (the piercings, not her nipples). Didn't realize that could happen, til that happened.

It happens when the piercing is too shallow. Your body naturally wants to reject piercings cause its a foreign object, if it is done right there will enough much skin that will hold it in place to keep it from happening.

 

Its most common w/ surface piercings and navels. Looks like a lobster claw after.
