chunkrock
I wish I could have preordered this from the label but hipping from the US is too expensive right now with the Canadian Dollar where it is. I was able to preorder it from amazon.ca last night though (for $18 Canadian with free shipping since I ordered the new Bjork with it). just a normal guy kevin
We've got vinyl and inserts in stock, still waiting on the LP jackets which is really pissing me off (sorry). Expecting those tomorrow or early next week. Orders will start going out same day. These jacket printers are dropping the ball! We need our physical KOLS music fix! Look at the pandemonium going on in this thread since February 12th and you'll see how bad it has gotten for us! topshelfsquad
corey.
I've only listened to the Warren Franklin side of this, trying to wait for the vinyl to arrive before I listen to KOLS.
just a normal guy kevin
This thread is nearing ETR Mystery Thread levels of pitchfork-wielding mob mentality and teeth-gnashing! Mods shut this riot down!
seafoamgreen
Just learning about this new record- definitely interested in hearing more! Also very interested to learn that Warren Franklin is from my hometown and I've never heard of them. Guess I'm out of touch!

cambionic
I wish I wasn't broke when it was first announced and was able to grab up gold before it sold out. That looks gorgeous and matches the art perfectly!
dantheriver
I wish I wasn't broke when it was first announced and was able to grab up gold before it sold out. That looks gorgeous and matches the art perfectly! The black matches perfectly. The gold doesn't match either of the two colors on the cover... chiefwahoo
I've never listened to Kind of Like Spitting but I'll be seeing them with The City on Film. I have little time to get familiar with them, is there an album that is considered the one to listen to, or doesn't it really matter? David The Gnome
Personally, I'd listen to Bridges Worth Burning and Nothing Makes Sense Without It. Might not be the best representation of their current sound but those are my favorite KOLS albums. Ben had (has?) another band, Blunt Mechanic, that would be worth checking out too. chiefwahoo
just a normal guy kevin
Just skim through them all. Each album, except for maybe the self titled demo/b-side compilation, has 3-4 songs that could be considered "essential KOLS". chiefwahoo

Each album, except for maybe the self titled demo/b-side compilation, has 3-4 songs that could be considered "essential KOLS". Totally agree. But those 3-4 songs are worth it. "Passionate" and "This Lemonade Is Terrible" are two of my favorite songs of all time. chiefwahoo
just a normal guy kevin
I meant that each album is worth listening to, except that old b-side album. Not one is the "essential" KOLS record. Bridges Worth Burning is the most polished though, so if you had to pick one start there. chiefwahoo
corey.
I have an extra copy of the OOP album Thrill Of The Hunt if someone's interested.
