kurtmanner
piece of wood on the wall above my turntable that reads "Now Playing" fantastic. i will steal this idea. Please do. I think it's an often overlooked solution.
thesack18
true... but then you'd be able to spin them. I always figured this would lead to chafing and was timid to try it. Your nonchalant attitude towards dick spinning might give me some faith. I always found it annoying to have to set the sleeve somewhere while playing records, so I found a great double solution. It's just a 12" piece of wood on the wall above my turntable that reads "Now Playing" on the front. Its kind of neat I guess, but it's more purposeful than anything. I also have a pretty sweet retro stand. It's got the "moon lander" style legs with sliding doors and the wood of my turntable matches wonderfully. With the wood framed Realistic speakers it's pretty dope I think. I have a few records in glass frames. i love it

scottheisel
I sometimes stand naked in front of the window holding my records for all the world to see. This is only acceptable if you hang a 45 from your wang. Small hole or big hole?

perk900
my 7"s are stored in corrugated boxes with almost all of them in plastic sleeves (those that aren't just won't fit in them)... my 12"s are in crates until i find a nice piece of furniture for them... my test presses are in individual boxes as to "protect" them... rafter242
Bought a few strips of wooden corner molding and just screwed them to the wall. (The molding, not the LPs. ) (I also have those single LP glass frames running down the hallway)
mcm1610
Mine are on a shelf, and the jacket of the one I'm spinning i usually put on top of all the other records. It's convenient and easy. I don't really show them off.. in fact, the shelf is in the corner of the room and most people don't notice them.
