AlexH.
http://store.suicidesqueeze.net/collections/frontpage/products/dark-sacred-night Finally, you don't have to constantly flip 7"s to get bummed out around the holidays. 01 “All I Want For Christmas” 02 “Happy Xmas (War Is Over)” 03 “Away In A Manger” 04 “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen” 05 “I Heard The Bells On Christmas Day” 06 “Jingle Bells” 07 “Silent Night” 08 “Long Way Around The Sea” 09 “O Little Town Of Bethlehem” 10 “Wish My Kids Were Here” I'm wondering which of the 3 versions of "I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day" he'll include. boops_popmarket
Love Bazan but the Xmas 7" never really struck a yuletide cord with me, unfortunately. Cool that they're getting a proper 12" release tho!

It wasn't released on a 7", but there's also this version, from the 2004 compilation Maybe This Christmas Tree. It's one of my favorite Bazan recordings. I'm guessing the version included will probably be the 2010 version, what with the revised lyrics to account for his agnosticism. somethingvinyl and ksuwdboots

There's a bunch more pictures here: http://www.ryanrussell.net/bengibbard.html ksuwdboots
achillesstand7
Awesome, I've been waiting for this for a while.
somethingvinyl
This will be fun. Prior to download links with 7"s, trying to scour the internets for HQ mp3's of the Christmas singles was a part time job. Nice that these will be available like this. Also, the fact that I own all the variants for the 7"s (except for one) is now even more pointless.

Not pointless, since this LP only includes 10 of the 14 songs from the 7"s, and the versions on the LP have been remixed & remastered from the 7" versions. Peateargriffin
I recently got the 7"'s but will gladly buy the digital and most likely the lp to gift to people.

ksuwdboots
Apparently there is also a bonus 12" on white vinyl /1000 with the four songs (from the 7"s that aren't on the regular LP) on side A and an etching of a wreath on side B. EDIT: Not sure how you purchase/acquire this bonus 12". EDIT 2: Looks like it's a separate "companion" release: http://www.bullmoose.com/p/23713653 Edited September 29, 2016 by ksuwdboots AlexH.

Usually ordering info for his releases is super straightforward and well-promoted through all the official channels.
ksuwdboots
Very cagey, considering they're releasing it: http://www.secretlydistribution.com/resources/ssq149.pdf

EHughes527
SS asked Sly to remove our Christmas Bonus post as well. Seems like they want it to be under the radar. Seems like the info is public and out there tho... We complied nonetheless. Edited September 29, 2016 by EHughes527
SweetJerryWine
Huh. I want to have this, but I definitely don't want to have to pay for shipping to Canada twice. Hoping I'll have the option to add it to my order.
