flood
yeah i'd really love to see them not trade any of their top 5 prospects (the killer b's, the two catchers, or nova) unless of course we're getting a bonafide #1 (rumor has it King Felix is back on the block because Seattle can't buy a win and needs to rebuild)... i don't want them spending huge on Jimenez either... shat
it would be funny if the Yankees work out a trade for Felix Hernandesz by Wednesday night that involved Hughes. they would still make their scheduled starts but they would be wearing the opposite uniforms. clydeftones
CC was stunning through 5 and 1/3 tonight but now we are in a rain delay. Perfect with 7 straight Ks. Incredible to watch.
shat
i can't remember the last time i saw anyone strike out the side in back to back innings let alone 7 straight.

shat
just looked at the standings, even with this 16 game losing streak the Orioles and Astros are still worse than the Mariners. before this losing streak started Seattle was .500.
shat
could only wonder what could've been had the ump waited it out instead of immediately calling for a delay as soon as it started pouring. it stopped raining by the time the tarp was on the field. mclz
I know its early but AL Cy Young? Obviously it's gonna be between Sabathia, Weaver, and Verlander.
mcm1610
It almost exclusively has to do with his disgustingly sloppy appearance, but I cannot fucking stand CC at all. I hate watching him. I get riled up just seeing him on TV. It's seriously irrational, but I despise him.

I know Anaheim wont do much if they make it to the playoffs but I just hate seeing the Yankees and Red Sox win. I know its early but AL Cy Young?Obviously it's gonna be between Sabathia, Weaver, and Verlander. Yea I dont think anyone else has a shot this year. Would love to see Weaver win it, i doubt he will tho...writers give way more props to the East/Central teams than the West teams.
travis
Blue Jays got Edwin Jackson and Mark Teahen from the White Sox for Jason Frasor and some big prospect.
shat
Braves walk off bullshit call in the 19th....watch the replay and tell me he's not out it will be a real shame if that game costs the Pirates a playoff spot. the throw beat him by a mile, andhe was tagged before the right handed batters box, not even anywhere near home plate. plus the tag made him pop up out of his slide. terrible call. hard to say which is worse, the blown call at first costing Galarraga a perfect game or this one. given the circumstances of each it's tough to say which one is worse. mclz
I think that Jim Joyce's blown call for Galarraga was easily one of the worst blown calls EVER.

Felix dominated last year and deserved it, he just played on a shitty team.
flood
my moneys on CC or Verlander.... Verlander's been nasty, and CC could theoretically win 25 this year if he keeps up the way he's been pitching (not to mention the insane run support hes been getting)
