cosmonaut
Personally, even though most people on these boards know about them, I think Young Widows is way underrated. also, I'm surprised that people aren't more excited about North Lincoln, especially given how many people are into Jawbreaker, HWM, and Small Brown Bike. That might change when No Idea puts out the new record, if that ever ends up happening.

lokithelion
O Pioneers. myspace.com/opioneers I know I'm their biggest fan boy and all, but Eric's a really fucking great songwriter. The demos for Neon Creeps are killer and dudes are going to be blown away when the record finally drops.

rtw88
I always thought Planes Mistaken for Stars were pretty underrated. I went to their last non-fest show here, and there were only about 6 people there.

captainmorgan
Good thread! Wish I was at home so I could listen to stuff. Not sure if most folks around here will like them, but if you like sorta spazzy hardcore check out Holy Shit! Band rules. http://www.myspace.com/holyshit Also, more in the melodic, Leatherface-ish vein: http://www.myspace.com/canadianrifle

controlthebleeding
ummm....HANK JONES www.myspace.com/hankjones don't listen to the myspace player, just watch the 3 videos. suckass!! just kidding.. I saw the video too and fell in love with the "PIZZA PARTY" song.. I really need to get the cd. The Video reminded me of late 80's videos. Especially THE WHITE KAPS video... Personally, i think Samiam is way underrated. for being around 20 years, no one gives them enough credit. Other underrated bands: - Naked City (i seriously think very few people on this board have even heard this band) - Mudhoney (these guys rock balls live..even now) - Fiddlehead (anyone remember them) - Nation of Ulysses (i think they should have gotten alot more success than they got)
