jedstah
If you had a chance to get a test press from a band that you're really into, and had to choose between; a rejected test press 1/5 or a good test press 1/7... Which would you go for? I'm probably going to end up getting both, but if not I'm curious as to which I should choose..
kirbypuckett
If you're never going to listen to it and just want to be a collector, then the rejected one is more rare so go with that. But if you are collecting because you like the music and may one day listen to it, then get the latter.
jedstah
I'm going to be getting a copy of the album too.. The rejected one has a skip in the second song..
Guest scriptedrain
Then go with the rejected, because either way you're not going to listen to it.

xunspokenliesx
I'd get the one that plays...but that's b/c I'd listen to it too...
xfedaykinx
i dunno, i look at both tests and rejected tests as collector items anyway, so i never listen to tests. and being that rejected tests are supposed to be destroyed i think theyre way cooler to own. chiefwahoo
Very tough question, but considering a rejected test is the only way to get a unique recording, I'd choose it. Being the rarer of the two doesn't hurt. Yes, I know the unique recording is a flaw, but still...
Guest conoley
Yeah I'd go with the reject too.

kyle
Tests are the best sounding versions of a record because they are the first pressed and the stamper is still brand new and without wear. As more and more records are pressed the stamper wears down and deteriorates sound quality. Therefore, I'd go with the good test and I'd listen to it. vinylme
I would go with the regular test press, unless they rejected it because the mixing on the album didnt turn out as planned on vinyl.

xlovecolouredx
if i'm you, jedstah. i will catch both because a chance to buy test press isn't easy and you may regret if you decided to buy only one of both. anyway,i never have any test press before.i think it's a richman toy and i believe no band want to let it outside the states. if i have a chance,i want these albums's test press converge : no heroes darkest hour : deliver us 108 : a new beat from dead hearts daughters : hell song some girls : heaven's pregnant teen pig destroyer : phantom limb okay,i'm ready to make a day dreaming....
