drinking alone, your thoughts?

I was talking to my best friend online and he was saying that he was about to drink a few beers. I decided that sounded like a good idea and preceded to drink four beers alone at the computer. To be honest, I'm a little drunk and it feels great. I don't really want to get into this though. Wha do you guys think?

I drink alone all the time (like 4-5 nights a week roughly, sometimes 6 or 7). I also hate myself and am a huge loser.

if this was a depressing girl drink alone i'd be so all over it. I almost can't wait to get my heart broken to do that exact thing. Right now I feel pretty good. I'm also listening to lawrence arms, but I think I'll change to Nobody's Darlings now.

I was so excited for them to play "I buried my heart at the bottom of the hill" at bottom of the hill, but they only played it one night and i don't know how many people noticed.

Anytime I've drank alone a half hour in I'm just like "you know what would be awesome, finding some other people to drink with right now." So it seems kind of pointless to me.

It's fucking stupid to criticize someone for drinking by themselves though.

There's a difference between having a beer or 4 slowly alone and drinking, in my opinion. I often watch hockey games with a few beers, but I wouldn't call that drinking.

I'm doing a white trash vision quest Friday. You get a bottle of whiskey, a list of your problems, a few albums you love and walk around until you figure out your problems. Then you get to try and drunkenly explain where you are to your ride. As long as it aint on the nightly you should be alright.
