zak138
I think anyone who wants to buy those records deserves to pay that much for them.
littlejonnyhormone
Ridiculous. I went to Gabe's (Gabriel Brothers - kinda like an overstock/discount store) a few weeks ago and found a Bloc Party 2xLP for $0.99 that had a Urban Outfitters tag on it, and thought that was weird - let alone to find vinyl at Gabe's. zak138
Wow, they still have Gabes!?!? That was the ultimate burn in junior high, "Where'd you get your back to school clothes, Gabes?" BURN!
littlejonnyhormone
I ONLY shop at Gabes when it comes to clothes.

Maybe I can pick some stuff up to flip for a price since it has a UO tag on it. I bought some hoodies there like 3 weeks ago, and one already has a hole in it. I guess you get what you pay for when you buy $8 hoodies.
desensitizedbyu
I used to go to Woodfield to look for Levi's in there but I never found anything I liked, then they opened up a Levi's and I was in heaven. It's just too.. hipstery? I don't know, that place is weird. And the girl's side has the wardrobe that of a grandmothers.

It was in a area of extremely low priced clearance stuff that seemed to be a lot of Urban Outfitters stuff. It was basically in a bin with a bunch of junk - I've never looked in this area before. I have no idea why it caught my eye. The whole shelf/bin was a mess and a lot of stuff was out of packaging/destroyed/etc. It was the only record there. My guess is they thought it was a calendar and priced it so low to see if they could get rid of it.
kirbypuckett
I work near a Gabes, I'm gonna go check it out after work. I dig Urban for a handful of things. Some people need to get over themselves.

littlejonnyhormone
I think everyone wants to stop at Gabes now. I might go see if there's anything new at the one here in an hour or so.

forgeagain
I usually only go there to buy record frames. Last time I was there they said they didn't have to 2 for $20 deal anymore. Apparently it's now 2 for $22 but they didn't say shit about it. WEAK
AlexH.
The one time I went to an Urban Outfitters I got a sweet green and purple sweatshirt on clearance for $10, and my friend got some Vans slipons with dinosaurs on them for $8. Everything else was way overpriced though, Levi's jeans were like 60 bucks!
