I think I will have more coming in this week for those of you who missed out. What a great album. I also had to share with you the Earth "The Bees Made Honey in the Lions Skull" bible bound triple gatefold double LP. The packaging on this one is ridiculous. I have absolutely no interest in that band as they don't really play any songs per se, but the pictures don't really do the layout justice. It's a nice high-quality binder-style gatefold....nice thick 1/2" spine or whatever, hardbacked.....lots of quality there. I could maybe see that with like their first two or three albums...but now being a 5-piece band (and especially on TBMHITLS) Earth has been churning out songs that could be the soundtrack to an epic Spaghetti western or Japanese horror movie. Dylan's songs have far more structure nowadays then they did back when it was just him on guitar and Harwell on bass (doesn't mean I don't love Earth 2 though...it may just be bass and guitar and lots of feedback...but there is something moving about the music. I had a meeting with Southern Lord and they gave me some vinyl and that Earth 2xLP was one of the things they gave me. Insanely awesome packaging. forgeagain Posted November 25, 2008 Share Posted November 25, 2008 I have a shitload of Earth on my computer since a friend of mine is always here and he loves them (hence how I saw the 2xLP). Every time one of the tracks comes up on shuffle there's not much song there. Maybe the newer stuff has more structure, I don't know. What I've heard is just a mass of boring sounds. It wont be in all stores that carry vinyl. If you cant find it in your local store then you will be able to find it online. Also the poorly packed vinyl issue is being fixed.
