shrinkwrap on records

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

If you have extra copies of a record, do you take the shrinkwrap off of all of them? I have read that shrinkwrap can contract more and warp a record. I have also heard that the record may already be warped due to the shrinkwrap process. I dunno if I should unwrap all of my still sealed records or leave them sealed. They are inside and safely stored so I don't know if I would have to worry about the shrinkwrap contracting more.

Let me know what you think.

I've never heard of warping issues with shrinkwrap, but I have had problems with the seams being split in shipping with records still wrapped.

I also prefer plastic sleeves.

Rip off the shrinkwrap, put it in a nice plastic sleeve, "it's all good babyy babyyy"

if you were actually quoting biggie, +1

Of course I was haha
