xjustinxschwierx
gunmoll / fifth hour hero is good, but gunmoll destroys fhh to the point where I rarely listen to their songs. thursday /envy, quite good. I'll have to go with Seein Red / MK Ultra other honorable mentions, though uneven as well: Culture / Kindred(can't remember the last time I listened to the Kindred side) La Mantra De Fhiqria / Bleeding Kansas (BK's side is great, but La Mantra became amazing at this point so they rule this split) Life's Halt / WHN?! is pretty fuckin rad too Traitors / Evil Beaver "Live at the Manhole", but only for comedy factors. scotterson
yeah, gunmolls side is so much more emotional and rockin that the FHH side just seems kind of weak sometimes. however, sometimes i just crave FHH, and that split has their best songs in my opinion. i love me some fifth hour hero. I'd say 3 band records are still splits. 4 bands makes a comp.
theambulancereview
I really dig on the Bouncing Souls / Anti-Flag Split. Swingin' Utters / Youth Brigade was a sick split too.

I'd say 3 band records are still splits. 4 bands makes a comp. I have a few that are clearly called "4-way splits". So they're splits to me. When I buy something, if it's labeled as "v/a", I'll call it a comp, but if the bands are listed, I'll call it a split. (I know it varies by distro/label, but I trust my judgement) I go by how it's marketed pretty much. If it's a bunch of bands doing just 1 song each, it's generally a comp to me. But if it's a couple bands, doing a couple songs each, I say split. Bleh.
