bunit
Has anyone ever glued an unglued sleeve back together? What did you use elmers (white) glue?

mystic84
Doesnt rubber cement leave stains after some time? i never noticed any. I was referring to the first Dischord pressings... I guess Jeff used to used rubber cement to glue the jackets.

But instead of not glueing it out of spite, I traded it.

xfedaykinx
krazy glue works for me. just be careful not to get it inside the sleeve as there may be some residue after it dries which may move onto the record.

jeffo
rubber cement is good because you can wipe the dried residue away if you mess up but the record will peel apart again at some point. I always use Krazy glue and take the sleeve far away from the record and it's contents until it's def dry. Also throw a couple books on the edge for weight and it's a done deal. I hate buying an old record and finding the scotch tape solution on them. Nothing worse than that - always yellows and looks like hell. controlthebleeding
i use crazy clue with a safety pin to run it along a thin fine line, then press it together, add weight for an hour, then leave it out to dry... good as new with no glue spilling out...
