justindinealone
what do you guys think about reseal bags being stickered? were looking at getting reseal bags for 2 new releases so we can insert download codes in house which obviously means we cant have them shrinkwrapped.. just wondering what people think about the reseal polybags. xfedaykinx
i dont buy them for myself, but i much prefer them to shrinkwrapped records.
bryneyancey
Shrinkwrap has bent/warped records of mine in the past. Anything would be better than shrinkwrap.
monk0nuggets
I love reseal poly bags. All of my records are in them.
cj
those reseal bags are the shit. they bring together the whole package a little better i think and give it more of a hand packaged feel than just shrinkwrapping them

I wouldent buy them either but I would much rather them then shrinkwrap no doubt
chiefwahoo
I hate them because it's inconvenient when I want to play the record. I'd hate it even more if it was stickered because then I'd have to keep the resealable bag instead of putting it in a regular sleeve. It wouldn't actually deter me from purchasing an album, though. trainreck
i vote for anything other than skrinkwrap
xjustinxschwierx
as long as it's in some sort of polybag I don't care.
cadetapplesauce
polybags are cool, but it's kind of annoying if they're too thin and wrinkle easily. nitpicking, i know...
rtw88
Any polybags are better than shrinkwrap. I personally like the open polybags, and wouldn't even bother with the resealable ones, but shrinkwrap sucks for sure.
Just Another Tom
Polybags all the way. Shrink wrap is horrible, overtime it warps the sleeve, sometimes even the record. I have never had a resealable bag but sounds fine. Nothing annoys me more than stickered shrink wrap, i want to throw it away but always end up taking it off and folding it inside the sleeve. justindinealone
wow.. kinda split on this.. i think we decided to go polybag / download code on one and not just shrinkwrap on the other... i personally like the reseal bags but only have a few releases that use them (park being one of them) thanks guys

Keep that up if you can.

Is it a repress of the red tree, a pressing of the EP, or something new altogether?
dreamover
prefer it to shrink wrap for sure. the only upside to shrink wrap is, if a record comes shrink wrapped, and one isn't, someone can't sell it on ebay saying it is brand new. i've bought "brand new" records on ebay that come in sleeves with dust on the record, and think... i bet this wasn't actually brand new. i use only these thick open-top sleeves that i get at my record store to store all my vinyl. so i'd eventually ship from the sealing ones anyway cause they end of sticking to the other records. buddtoker
I think it pains any vinyl collector to have to cut open anything. Reseal, without a doubt.
aviolentworld
it seems alright to me. im trying to find a misfits collection album that has a sticker on the shrink wrap that is a little more rare than without. i usually just rip that shit off. sometimes i will keep the shrink wrap if it has what i think a special sticker on it. deafmx
poly sleeves/bags, whatever. resealable suck because they make it a hassle to get the records back into them. static electricity makes the sticky part cling to the sleeve and stick to the artwork most of the time. drives me crazy. I prefer open ended poly sleeves over the rest! death to shrinkwrap!
justindinealone
the moneen is smaller chairs for the early 1900s as a 10" and a new lp coming in a few months
bigmonkey
I personally don't like the resealable bags, just because there's a chance it could get stuck to the jacket. Anal retentive and a little crazy? Yeah, probably.
