xxmartinxx
That's a very odd tonearm. I'm not sure, but as everyone said, an expensive one.
melikecheese
That's homemade. Look at the base, the cut acrylic too.
cj
That's homemade. Look at the base, the cut acrylic too. i'm not so sure because it looks like there is a logo in the bottom left on that metal plate
burntwolf
i have seen that turntable or one that looks a lot like it featured somewhere before i'm pretty sure...but i can't remember where...
slinch
This looks very similar to Michell orbe TT, but that one doesn't have the acrylic base. EDIT: It's actually the more expensive version of Orbe, that will set you back for around $4500. The tonearm is a Wilson Benesch a.c.t., so that's an additional $1200-$1700. And these are relatively "cheap" for the high-end enthusiasts. Those dudes should give some of their dough to me.
coasterguy2
Man. And I'm running on a 80 dollar portable and a 25 year old Panasonic.
circlingvultures
it's a nice TT but $6000 still isn't going to make pearl jam sound as good as a Ramones record on a $100 turntable. No offense to the pearl jam fans of course.
enjoyadrian
that tonearm reminds me of the lamp from a christmas story.

salaho
It's a Michell Gyrodec (I have one), but I don't know about the tone arm?

stranaspank
great album True, and I'm pretty sure Pearl Jam would agree about the Ramones comment.
