thadco Posted March 13, 2008 Share Posted March 13, 2008 My friends band, Malpais just recorded and asked me to put out a limited run 300 copies 7" on colored vinyl One of the tracks that will go on the record features Maria Taylor of Azure Ray. They have another track with Tim Kasher of Cursive but I'm not sure if that will be going on this 7" or if they will save it for the upcoming full length. I have all the money to do this, what I don't have is a savey label that has connections to a pressing place and can help guide me. A little distro wouldn't hurt either. I suspect we'll be able to move 200 of them easily at the release show and the local shops. So I'll have 100 left to sell. My label is local, small and I haven't dealt with vinyl pressing plant in many years. Check them out at myspace.com/malpaisband If you like what you hear, get back at me.
