Eliminator Jr.
Not available in their EU-store
curtis
And even if they will have, will be more expensive shipped.. IMO.
Eliminator Jr.
I bought a copy of Black One on clear from their EU-store a couple weeks ago. It was 23€ + 7€ shipping. If I'd ordered from the U.S. it would've cost me roughly 20€ more.
Guest
This is easily my favorite Sunn record. I am really surprised how much the price shot up.
Eliminator Jr.
My clear copy finally arrived after ordering mid-october. It's heavy as a brick and easily one of the most remarkable packagings I've encountered.
curtis
Mine arrived about 2-3 weeks ago. Kannon arrived much earlier.. My clear copy finally arrived after ordering mid-october. It's heavy as a brick and easily one of the most remarkable packagings I've encountered.
Barberbro
I caved and ordered this. Hope it's better than Kannon.
Eliminator Jr.
I caved and ordered this. Hope it's better than Kannon. It's impossible to overstate how much better than Kannon this record is.
azvd
Wouldn't say it's better. But it's a whole other kind of beast.
radiatorhums
I think it's a more accessible album than Kannon. Whether that's good or bad is entirely up to you. I like it more, but I also think Kannon is quite good.
markok
Listened to Kannon last week, sorry guys, but that is the most shit album I have ever heard. I understand where they were going with this, but it just falls flat on its face. If you have some random electric guitar and some random effect box you can make "albums" like this all day long. Eliminator Jr.
I think Kannon is a solid effort, Attila's vocal performance is phenomenal, but it falls flat in comparison to Black One and M&D. With the former being pure evil, to the point of actually being terrifying, and the latter being their most adventurous, ingeniously composed and triumphant record. Kannon at no point grabs my attention the way any of the two do.
Barberbro
Maybe I need to listen to it a few more times to appreciate it more. Funny, last night when I put this on my table, I kept switching the speed from 33 to 45. I wasn't sure of the playing speed.

azvd
I think Kannon is a solid effort, Attila's vocal performance is phenomenal, but it falls flat in comparison to Black One and M&D. Well, if you keep in mind that Kannon surrounds what they did in their first three albums, it kinda contextualizes everything. It's Sunn O))) sounding as it originally did and for me, that's the whole merit of it. They somehow put things back in the original perspective and to be honest, it's a very focused album with Attila sounding stronger than ever. But I can understand that someone who got hooked up by the intrincated M&D or their further, more eclectic collaborations would take Kannon as a shallow effort.
