I'm 6'2", so I've been kicked in the head/face too many times by crowdsurfers. Twisted an ankle once or twice too.

I did see some guy get fucked up at a Pennywise/Long Beach Dub All-Stars/Vandals/TSOL/ALL show (weirdest lineup ever). I think he was drunk and he fell from the 2nd level of the LA Sports Arena onto the floor (about 10 feet from me). I was underneath the overhang and saw him land directly on his head. There was blood and teeth everywhere. It took paramedics way too long to tend to him, and even then he wasn't moving much. (Rumor has it he died at the hospital, but who knows.)

So many. Shits crazy.

Bite my tongue really badly once. Blood everywhere. It was swollen for about a week.

Got a concussion once when my friends heel came down right between my eyes when he dived off the stage.

Bruised some ribs at the last Have Heart show here in Seattle.

I've never broken anything but I've had countless bloody noses, pulled muscles, black eyes, bruises and limps from being kicked in the ankles.

Greg, the lead singer of my favorite band the dillinger escape plan, was using me to hoist himself back on stage after diving out to share the mic with me and some friends. He slipped and his HUGE elbow went into my jaw and forced one of my K9 teeth through my upper lip! It hurt quite a bit and the bar tender didn't give me free ice/water till i spit blood on to the bar. good show none the less!

when i was 15 i was at a HWM show at a pool hall and i got elbowed in the eye. it split my eyebrow open and it was hanging down over my eye so i couldnt see. My ass hole friends didnt want to miss the bands so i had to call my dad to come pick me up. He ended up giving me a choice... He could take me to the ER and sit around for 2-4 hours until they saw me or, he could take me across the street to his dentist office and sew my eyebrow back together himself. i picked the ladder Latter.

I think i got 13-15 stitches and in the end he did a pretty decent job

The craziest thing i saw was at a DEP show back in high school. i think it was the guitarist that was spazzing out and swinging his guitar around while a kid was climbing up on to the stage. He connected with the kid's head and ended up snapping the neck of his guitar in half.

lotta kida gettin hurt while shitty bands play ITT

after over a decade of shows i finally sustained my first serious injury this summer during hewhocorrupts at dudefest. some stage diver landed knee first on my neck and it hasnt been the same yet. that was like 3 months ago and it still cracks every time i turn it. wish i had some health insurance so i could get it looked into. but id rather have a shitty neck for the rest of my life than live in a socialist society where obama sends my downs syndrome cousin to a gas chamber

I got jump kicked in the chest by a skin head at a Vandals show when I was 15. I had a big boot print shaped bruise on me for a while after that. Then another time a fat chick fell on top of me and gave me a bloody nose at a Bigwig show sometime later that year. More recently I broke three bones in my hand when the Vandals played Austin this year. I still can't use my pinkie like I once could.

i got a concussion, broke 2 ribs and almost ruptured my spleen at a show about 2 years ago. stage dived and right after i did, 2 other dudes came behind me and just stomped me to the ground. i kept getting stepped on and hitting my head against the cement, until my huge 350 pound friend grabbed me by my hoodie and yanked me out.

a month later when my ribs were just about healed i got really sick and was sneezing a lot and after one good sneeze my friend and i heard this pop and i felt the most excruciating pain ever. i had rebroken them. what the fuck.

Every now and then I hear a lot of shitty stories about people being stomped at the bottom of a pit, and it makes me glad that I've never seen that in Buffalo. In any concert I've ever been to around here, when someone drops, everyone jumps to grab the guy up or shove people back or do whatever to let him live. I can't believe people don't do that.
